Primetric
By BigTime Software, Inc
Primetric is a cloud-based platform specializing in resource, project, and financial management for IT services, digital agencies, and software development firms. It functions as a unified command center that enables precise workload allocation, financial forecasting, and operational insight, built through the direct experience of its founders in the software industry. The company operates internationally, with significant usage in Poland, Croatia, the United States, and other regions.
Primetric was co-founded by Zbigniew Wantuła, Jędrzej Anisiewicz, and Arkadiusz Terpiłowski, who previously managed a 100+ employee software company and recognized inefficiencies in project and resource tracking. The startup has grown to more than 30 employees in under four years and boasts strong year-over-year MRR growth (over 190% annually). The founders sold their previous company and, after consulting with 1,000+ software development firms, designed Primetric to address common operational pain points.
Primetric has raised a total of $600,000 USD through three funding rounds, backed by Polish investors including Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder, Unfold.vc, and WP2 Investments. Their last disclosed round occurred in March 2022. The company’s rapid growth and SaaS traction have made it an attractive acquisition target.
In August 2023, Primetric was acquired by BigTime Software, a U.S.-based leader in professional services automation (PSA) for time tracking, project management, and payments. The integration accelerates both companies’ shared vision of delivering end-to-end solutions for resource and financial management in global professional services firms, combining Primetric’s predictive allocation and bench management with BigTime’s established billing and project tools.
Primetric’s feature set regularly evolves, reflecting customer feedback and market needs. Recent enhancements focused on real-time allocation reports, predictive timesheets, and smarter financial forecasting. The platform also expanded integrations with popular project and HR systems. Continuous updates are deployed through the cloud with minimal user disruption.
Primetric's culture is strongly customer-centric, putting a premium on listening to customer pain points and collaborating closely to inform product development. The team is composed largely of professionals with firsthand experience in software companies, fostering empathy for client needs and rapid problem-solving. Post-acquisition, BigTime highlighted Primetric’s innovation and transparent, growth-focused mindset as key assets to their combined mission.
By late 2022, Primetric was serving over 12,000 users in 15 countries, and continued rapid growth has brought their total user count to over 17,000 by 2025, notably within the European tech sector. Customers include high-growth software enterprises, managed service providers, and regulated industry consultancies. User community feedback is actively solicited to guide roadmap direction and product improvements.
