Pet Sitter Plus maintains a user-first data policy:
Pet Sitter Plus offers a flexible, usage-based pricing and subscription model:
The agreement begins on the Effective Date and lasts for the Initial Subscription Term as defined in Schedule 2. It automatically renews for successive Renewal Periods (typically monthly) unless terminated by either party.
Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance. On the Effective Date, you’re billed for the first period. Subsequently, billing recurs on each subscription anniversary.
Pet Sitter Plus may raise subscription rates (including multi-user fees) by giving 30 days’ notice before the effective date.
There’s no formal penalty or exit fee. You may cancel anytime by discontinuing active users before the new billing cycle or by removing your payment method. Access ends at the current cycle’s conclusion.
If fees remain unpaid 7 days past due, Pet Sitter Plus may suspend your account. Interest (4% over UK bank base rates) accrues on outstanding amounts.
Pet Sitter Plus adheres to multiple compliance frameworks, ensuring rigorous data protection and security:
Operates as a Data Processor, with clients as Data Controllers under GDPR. It provides a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA), aligning processing, sub-processor rules, breach reporting, and data subject rights with Articles 28, 32, and others.
All payment card data is managed via Stripe, which holds PCI Level 1 certification. Pet Sitter Plus never stores card data. All transactions are encrypted over HTTPS/TLS.
Hosted on Amazon EC2, with globally distributed infrastructure, secure data storage, regional redundancy, and best-in-class physical and operational security.
Uses encrypted connections, password-protected systems, restricted developer access, and stringent internal policies to prevent unauthorized data access.
