Nectar Desk's pricing structure primarily revolves around a monthly subscription fee per agent, starting at $50 per month. However, there are additional costs associated with specific usage scenarios:
Inbound Toll-Free Minutes: These are charged separately, and a fair usage policy applies. This means that businesses using a significant amount of toll-free minutes will incur extra costs.
Per Minute/Message Charges: For high volumes of calls and messaging, Nectar Desk charges individually per minute or message. This implies that while basic functionalities are covered by the subscription fee, extensive use of certain features can lead to additional expenses.

Technical and Administrative Security Measures: The software implements various technical and administrative measures to safeguard personal information. These include procedures designed to limit the dissemination of personal information to designated personnel only, thereby preventing unauthorized access.
Use of Secure Infrastructure: Nectar Desk's application and data are hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which provides secure data centers and infrastructure. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, use of firewalls, and other security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
Permission-Based Software: The software is designed as permission-based, allowing call center managers to control who has access to specific data. This feature is crucial for ensuring that sensitive information is only accessible to authorized personnel and for maintaining data integrity.
Regular Security Updates and Penetration Testing: Nectar Desk emphasizes the importance of regular security updates and conducts both internal and external penetration testing. These practices help identify and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring the software remains secure against emerging threats.
Nectar Desk regularly releases updates to enhance its software, streamline workflows, and optimize user experience. The updates are managed through a structured release process, with recent versions such as 3.9.0 and 3.0.3 introducing new features and improvements. While the exact frequency of updates isn't specified, the presence of multiple version releases suggests a proactive approach to maintaining and improving the software.
Nectar Desk's policy on data ownership and portability is designed to ensure that businesses retain control over their data. Typically, SaaS providers like Nectar Desk allow businesses to own the data they input into the system. This means that businesses can export their data as needed, ensuring portability and flexibility. However, for specific details on data ownership rights and procedures for data export, businesses should consult Nectar Desk's terms of service or directly contact their support team.
Nectar Desk offers flexible terms for scaling up or down to accommodate changing organizational needs. As a cloud-based service, it allows businesses to easily adjust the number of users or features according to their requirements. This scalability is a key advantage of using SaaS solutions, as it enables businesses to efficiently manage resources and costs without significant infrastructure changes. Adjustments to the subscription, such as adding or removing agent licenses, can typically be made through the platform's administrative settings or by contacting customer support.
