ZenTreasury typical implementation process:
Initial assessment and planning: ZenTreasury begins implementation with a discovery phase, during which consultants assess an organization’s specific treasury or IFRS 16 needs and define key configuration requirements for system setup.
Environment setup and data import: The client’s environment is configured in ZenTreasury’s cloud system, followed by onboarding of company details, chart of accounts, and existing contracts or financial instruments (leases, loans, FX positions).
System configuration: Accounting rules, posting templates, and reporting structures are customized to align with the client’s ERP and compliance frameworks, such as IFRS 16 or internal treasury policies.
Testing and validation: The platform undergoes trial runs in a test environment to validate lease calculations, reporting accuracy, and interfaces to external systems like ERPs or bank feeds before go-live.
User training and onboarding: ZenTreasury provides guided onboarding sessions and user training to ensure treasury and accounting teams adapt quickly to the interface and workflows.
ZenTreasury can be extensively customized to fit specific business needs across functionality, branding, and integration layers. It supports tailored implementations through configuration, custom development, and white‑label services designed for financial institutions, corporates, and fintech providers.
Configurable workflows: Users can create custom workflows for approvals, trade finance, and lease management using drag‑and‑drop builders and role‑based permissions.
Custom development services: ZenTreasury offers full bespoke development, including MVP creation, feature extensions, and dedicated deployment with end‑to‑end support, enabling unique treasury process automation.
White‑labeling options: Businesses can rebrand the platform by adding logos, domains, and color schemes through Basic SaaS or Private Cloud white‑label models, maintaining full brand control.
Private cloud environments: Organizations can request dedicated databases, control hosting locations, and apply additional performance or compliance configurations for data isolation and security.
Theming and UI customization: The platform’s theme settings allow personalized color palettes, icons, and UI components to match corporate branding for client‑facing deployments.

ZenTreasury provides a structured onboarding program with consulting-led setup, live training, and continuous support delivered through a dedicated help center and service packages. New users receive discovery and configuration assistance from Treasury Consulting & Support, covering process optimization, risk controls, system setup, and staff enablement, with options to extend into managed/outsourced treasury services for day-to-day operations and reporting if desired. Live and guided trainings are complemented by a self-service support portal (Freshdesk) featuring knowledge-base articles, navigation guides, and ticketing for issue tracking, giving teams 24/7 access to documentation and case management. For organizations needing deeper enablement, ZenTreasury offers tailored consulting engagements, continuous post–go-live optimization, and communication channels via official pages and service posts highlighting training and support as core offerings.
ZenTreasury protects data using encryption in transit and at rest, GDPR-aligned processing, regional data residency, and layered access controls with role-based permissions and approval segregation to safeguard confidentiality and integrity across modules.
Data is encrypted at rest and during transmission, with TLS v1.3 used for secure communications and Cloudflare's strict mode enforced to prevent downgrade or man‑in‑the‑middle risks.
Platform traffic is secured end-to-end, ensuring confidentiality for IFRS 16, FX, loans, guarantees, and cash forecasting data moving between browser, API, and storage layers.
Customer data is stored in selected regions with full GDPR compliance, giving organizations control over where records reside and how they are processed.
The privacy policy outlines controller/processor roles, lawful bases, retention, and DPA coverage when ZenTreasury acts as a processor for customer-submitted personal data.
Role-based access control and permissioning limit access to sensitive functions; approval hierarchies embed segregation of duties into treasury and lease workflows.
Navigation and user guidance are supported by a help center, reinforcing least-privilege practices during onboarding and daily operations.
A public Data Processing Agreement governs processor obligations, audit cooperation, and deletion/return of data after service termination, aligning with GDPR Article 28 requirements.
Policy documentation clarifies contacts, accountability, and definitions for data handling, providing transparency and governance for enterprise buyers.
Case materials emphasize accuracy, data entry controls, and reporting reliability to deliver “peace of mind” for IFRS 16 programs, reflecting disciplined process and control design.
ZenTreasury is a cloud-native SaaS that pushes automatic platform updates with zero-downtime deployment, managed via a modern CI/CD pipeline and containerized infrastructure to avoid service disruption for end users.
Updates are delivered automatically in the cloud environment, removing the need for customer-managed upgrades and keeping IFRS 16 and treasury modules current by default.
Treasury data dependencies (e.g., yield curves, FX rates) are refreshed on a managed schedule to ensure valuations and reports reflect up-to-date market data.
Deployments are orchestrated through Kubernetes on AWS with autoscaling and blue/green-style rollouts, enabling zero-downtime releases and rapid rollback if needed.
DevOps practices with CI/CD automate build, test, and deploy stages, providing consistent release quality and monitoring across services and APIs.
Because updates are SaaS-delivered, customers receive new capabilities and fixes without hosting changes; configuration and mapping rules remain intact after releases.
ZenTreasury’s data ownership and portability policies are governed by its Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which maintain strong alignment with GDPR Article 20 and related EU data protection standards.
Customer ownership: All data, financial records, and uploaded content entered into ZenTreasury remain the property of the customer or the data controller using the service.
Processor role: ZenTreasury acts as a data processor for customers’ financial and personal data, processing only under the controller’s written instructions in accordance with Article 28(3) GDPR.
No secondary use: The platform does not claim ownership, resale, or reuse rights over customer-provided data; its handling is solely for the performance of contracted services such as IFRS 16 reporting, treasury analytics, or system integration.
Data residency control: Customers may select where their data is hosted—within or outside the EU—ensuring compliance with applicable national and regional data laws.
Portability right: Users have the right to retrieve all their data in a structured, commonly used, and machine‑readable format upon request or contract termination, enabling transfer to another service provider in line with GDPR Article 20.
Formats supported: Exported data is typically provided in open formats (such as CSV, XML, or JSON) suitable for migration or auditing purposes, ensuring reusability without vendor lock‑in.
Deletion on request: After service termination or when required by the controller, ZenTreasury erases stored data following DPA protocols, backed by audit confirmation of completion.
ZenTreasury offers flexible scaling terms that allow users to expand or contract their subscriptions as organizational needs evolve. Its SaaS model supports seamless upgrades, downgrades, and modular add‑ons without the need for system reinstallation or data migration.
Upgrade anytime: Customers can upgrade plans at any time via account settings or through ZenTreasury’s support team to access additional modules, higher contract volumes, or enterprise‑level features.
Plan tiers: The platform scales along three commercial packages—Premium (≤100 contracts), Premium Plus (≤300 contracts), and Enterprise (300 + contracts)—so organizations can grow incrementally with predictable cost changes.
Automatic resource scaling: ZenTreasury’s AWS‑based architecture features containerized auto‑scaling, ensuring cloud performance expands dynamically with higher transaction loads or global usage spikes.
Instant feature activation: When upgrading, new functionalities (such as advanced integrations, audit trails, or multi‑entity modules) are deployed instantly under the same unified code base, avoiding downtime.
Downgrade policy: Customers can request a downgrade directly through their account interface or support; the change becomes effective at the end of the current annual billing term, consistent with standard SaaS contract practice.
Usage recalibration: Reduced module access or lower contract volumes are reflected at renewal, while data and configurations remain preserved to facilitate future upgrades if growth resumes.
Add‑on options: Beyond base plans, clients may attach or remove add‑ons such as accounting modules, API bundles, dedicated hosting, or extended SLAs, allowing right‑sizing without full contract revision.
Enterprise agreements: For large customers, multi‑year or white‑label contracts may incorporate flexible scaling clauses defining thresholds for user counts, contracts, or system capacity, billed dynamically as operations expand or consolidate.
ZenTreasury’s contract renewal and cancellation policies are governed by its Terms of Service (updated May 2025) and are structured around annual SaaS subscription agreements with automatic renewals, adjustable pricing metrics, and clear termination procedures.
Automatic renewal: Contracts renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (typically one year), continuing for another subscription term unless either party provides advance written notice of non‑renewal.
Renewal notice period: Customers must notify ZenTreasury in writing before the current subscription term expires to prevent automatic renewal; common practice aligns with 30–60 days’ advance notice, depending on the contract tier and jurisdiction.
Price adjustments: Subscription fees can increase annually by up to 3% unless otherwise negotiated. Pricing adjustments tied to Monthly Active Contracts (MAC) or Historical Deal Storage (HDS) usage may apply upon renewal to reflect expanded data or user volumes.
Order form dependency: Renewal pricing and scope are defined in the original or most recent Order Form, which governs product modules, license quantities, and custom features.
Enterprise SLAs: Enterprise clients with bespoke integrations or white‑label deployments may negotiate multi‑year renewal terms and service guarantees as part of extended or framework agreements.
Cancellation notice: Customers must send a formal written request to cancel their subscription before renewal; failure to do so results in automatic extension for the next annual term.
Early termination: The platform allows early termination only if the company materially breaches its obligations or during Beta service discontinuation; refunds are typically not provided for terminated prepaid periods.
Data access post‑termination: Upon contract termination, customers retain the right to export their treasury and accounting data in machine‑readable formats (CSV, XLSX, JSON) before permanent deletion per GDPR and DPA commitments.
ZenTreasury meets multiple international compliance standards spanning financial reporting, information security, and data protection, ensuring trust and audit readiness across treasury and lease accounting operations.
IFRS 16: ZenTreasury is purpose-built for full IFRS 16 compliance, automating right‑of‑use (ROU) asset and liability calculations, remeasurements, lease modifications, and disclosures in accordance with the standard.
Audit‑reviewed system: The solution has been validated by an international audit firm and includes 30+ prebuilt reports used by IFRS‑reporting companies, supporting transparent audit trails and standardized disclosure templates.
Segregation of duties: Core treasury control functionality ensures proper approval hierarchies and prevents accounting or reporting conflicts, a key IFRS governance requirement.
GDPR & CCPA: ZenTreasury is fully compliant with GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), featuring clear data portability, erasure rights, and processing agreements according to Articles 20 and 28 GDPR.
Data residency options: Customers can choose European, Middle Eastern, or localized hosting zones, supporting adherence to national data‑sovereignty standards.
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs): All clients receive signed DPAs outlining processor obligations, deletion guarantees, and third‑party sub‑processor disclosures for full transparency.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification: The platform operates on Google Cloud infrastructure certified under ISO/IEC 27001, guaranteeing adherence to global best practices in information‑security management and risk mitigation.
Secure architecture: End‑to‑end data encryption (TLS v1.3), identity management through Microsoft SSO, role‑based access control, and audit logging reinforce confidentiality and integrity.
Validated treasury controls: Segregation of duties, access restriction, and internal audit visibility maintain corporate governance standards across all modules.
ZenTreasury’s treasury modules align with ASC 842 (U.S.) and GASB 87 (public‑sector), ensuring flexibility for multinationals expanding across financial jurisdictions.
