xCloud
بواسطة xCloud Hosting, LLC
xCloud Hosting, LLC is a modern cloud infrastructure company that emerged from the established WPDeveloper ecosystem. The company positions itself as a disruptive force in the managed WordPress hosting market, focusing on high-performance, developer-centric server management. Unlike traditional hosts that focus solely on infrastructure, xCloud focuses on the 'control plane'—the interface and automation layer that makes managing sophisticated cloud setups accessible to non-technical users while providing the depth required by seasoned sysadmins. The company serves a global market, leveraging the 6-million-strong user base of its sister products to drive rapid adoption and community-led development.
xCloud was co-founded by M Asif Rahman and Nazmul Hasan Rupok, the visionary duo behind WPDeveloper and several other successful WordPress ventures. The idea for xCloud was born in 2022 after the founders realized that despite managing millions of users across their plugin ecosystem, a streamlined and affordable server management solution was still missing for power users. M Asif Rahman, with nearly 20 years of experience in the WordPress industry, led a two-year development process to create a platform that bridges the gap between shared hosting and high-end managed VPS services. The platform officially launched in early 2024, quickly gaining traction through its partnership with WPManageNinja and a strong presence at WordCamps globally.
As of late 2024, xCloud is an unfunded, bootstrapped venture operating under the umbrella of its parent company, WPDeveloper. This self-funded model has allowed the team to prioritize product stability and community feedback over rapid, venture-capital-driven expansion. The product's initial development and infrastructure costs were absorbed by the revenue generated from other WPDeveloper products like Essential Addons for Elementor. The company utilizes a 'pay-as-you-grow' revenue model through its subscription services and managed hosting offerings, ensuring sustainable long-term growth without external investment pressure.
The xCloud product lineup is divided into three primary segments: Self-Managed (BYOS), xCloud Managed Servers, and the Reseller/White-Label program. The Self-Managed offering is a control panel for users who have their own accounts with DigitalOcean, Vultr, AWS, or GCP. The Managed Servers offering provides a turn-key solution where xCloud provisions and manages the infrastructure on behalf of the user. Specialized offerings have recently been introduced for Laravel, LLM (Large Language Model) apps, and n8n automation hosting, alongside a sophisticated Reseller program that enables agencies to launch their own hosting businesses with built-in billing and client management tools.
xCloud has rapidly expanded its geographic footprint, now supporting over 31 global server locations through its cloud provider partners. While its parent company has strong roots in Bangladesh and the United States, xCloud has localized its efforts to support a global developer base. The platform has seen significant growth in the European and North American markets, driven by its adherence to GDPR standards. Future expansion plans include deepening integrations with regional cloud providers in Asia and the Middle East, as well as enhancing its multi-language documentation to support its growing international user community.
In the last 12-18 months, xCloud has significantly evolved from a WordPress-only panel to a multi-framework management solution. Major recent updates include the launch of the xCloud Reseller/White Label program, integration with LLM hosting for AI applications, and specialized hosting for n8n workflows. The team also introduced a 'Bulk Site Migration' tool to handle mass transfers from cPanel and a 'Vulnerability Scanner' powered by Patchstack. Additionally, the platform added support for OpenLightSpeed stacks as an alternative to NGINX, and implemented advanced team permission settings to facilitate agency workflows.
The culture at xCloud and WPDeveloper is built on a foundation of open-source contribution and developer empowerment. The team is known for its active participation in the WordPress community, frequently sponsoring WordCamps and contributing to core WordPress development. The work environment is innovation-driven, with a focus on 'no-code' simplicity for complex technical tasks. The company emphasizes transparency, which is reflected in its pricing and open roadmap, and fosters a culture of continuous learning and experimentation, particularly in the realms of AI and cloud architecture.
xCloud maintains a vibrant user community through several channels, including a highly active Facebook group, a detailed technical blog, and a comprehensive documentation portal. The company engages with its users through regular webinars, feature request boards, and direct support. They have also established a certification program for agencies using their White Label solutions. By sponsoring major tech events and fostering a developer-first ecosystem, xCloud has built a loyal following of 'next-gen' hosting enthusiasts who actively contribute to the product's roadmap and documentation.
