By TruGrid
TruGrid is a U.S.-based cybersecurity company specializing in secure remote access solutions. Its flagship product, TruGrid SecureRDP, enables secure remote desktop access without the need for VPNs or firewall modifications. The company focuses on simplifying remote work technologies for organizations requiring robust yet user-friendly solutions.
Founded in 2018 by Peter Ayedun, TruGrid emerged from the need to provide mid-market companies and service providers with a simpler alternative to complex remote work solutions like Citrix. The company has since grown to serve businesses worldwide, offering secure remote access platforms that enhance productivity and safeguard critical assets against cyber threats.
Zero Trust Architecture: Ensures that access is verified in the cloud before granting entry to protected resources, making networks invisible to attackers over the internet.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Enforced by default, adding an extra layer of security to user logins.
No VPN or Firewall Exposure: Allows RDP access without the need for VPNs or inbound firewall exposure, simplifying deployment and reducing potential attack vectors.
Cloud-Based Authentication: Utilizes cloud-based authentication mechanisms to verify user identities before granting access.
High-Performance Global Network: Leverages a global fiber-optic network to minimize latency and deliver a smooth remote desktop experience.
Simplified Encryption Management: Provides an easy and affordable way for businesses to manage BitLocker encryption, ensuring data protection in case of device loss or theft.
TruGrid launched RDP Inspector, a free, web-based tool designed to help businesses and cybersecurity professionals detect vulnerable open ports on the internet. Key features include:
Browser-Based Scanning: Accessible from any web browser, eliminating the need for additional software.
Vulnerability Detection: Scans for open ports and services that could expose systems to unauthorized access or attacks.
Actionable Reports: Generates detailed security reports to help organizations identify, prioritize, and resolve vulnerabilities.
In-Country Usage: Built-in safeguards, such as geo-blocking, prevent misuse and ensure responsible tool usage for in-country scans.
RDP Inspector complements TruGrid SecureRDP by offering instant visibility into open ports, enhancing an organization's cybersecurity posture.
