Tempo Capacity Planner offers a robust suite of features for optimizing team and resource planning directly within Jira. It provides seamless integration with Jira, enabling managers to schedule tasks, projects, and tickets effortlessly by dragging and dropping issues onto planning dashboards. Real-time visibility supports efficient allocation and adjustment, while customizable dashboards and advanced reporting allow for tracking planned versus actual time spent, helping teams identify bottlenecks and make more informed decisions. The tool supports recurring plans, multi-project management, workload and holiday scheme configuration, and multiple team or individual assignments on a single issue. Managers can approve plans, set access permissions, and use generic resources for early-stage project mapping. Integration with other Tempo products like Timesheets and Financial Manager extends planning capabilities to time tracking, budgeting, and cost analysis. Team members and managers benefit from clear workload views, feedback channels, and capacity analysis—ensuring balanced supply, fewer scheduling conflicts, and improved organizational performance.
