Strawberry Browser
بواسطة Dendrite Systems
Strawberry Browser is an AI-driven browser platform based in Stockholm, Sweden, founded to automate digital workflows and bring agent-like intelligence directly into the browsing experience. Its core innovation is “AI companions”—autonomous agents embedded in the browser, capable of taking actions such as clicking, typing, extracting data, and automating repetitive multi-step tasks across web applications.
Strawberry was founded in 2024 by Charles Maddock, Sebastian Thunman, and Arian Hanifi. The founders aimed to solve the problem of time-consuming, repetitive online work for professionals and researchers by building agentic technology into a browser everyone can use, rather than a separate technical tool. Early development focused on tools for agent builders and evolved toward mainstream adoption as a browser platform as agent capabilities matured.
The company recently raised $6 million in seed funding through a round led by General Catalyst and EQT Ventures, with notable participation from founders of Lovable, Hugging Face, and Supabase. This infusion of capital enables Strawberry to scale its engineering and design teams, accelerate feature development, and expand access for its growing community.
Strawberry offers a full-featured browser with embedded AI assistants. Key features include:
Agentic AI companions (Sales Sally, Recruiter Ryan, Extractor Ella, etc.) for automating specific business functions like sales, recruiting, research, and operations.
No-code workflow automation across integrated platforms (Google Sheets, Airtable, Gmail, Notion, Slack, Microsoft 365).
Explicit approval controls for user security and compliance.
Cross-app data movement, automated reporting, market analysis, and competitive intelligence generation.
Local-first storage for privacy-conscious use, with granular data handling controls.
Desktop-first design, with mobile support on the roadmap.
Recent and upcoming additions include mobile support, offline automation, extension shop, improved privacy features, and enriched team workflow capabilities that allow users to share and sync custom agents company-wide.
Strawberry is known for its collaborative culture, transparency, and focus on product-led growth. The founders emphasize a low-ego, user-centric approach and view responsible, context-sensitive AI as a way to help users “skip their busywork” and focus on higher-value activities. The mission is to make AI automation accessible and empowering for everyday workers, not just enterprise teams or technical users.
Strawberry’s community includes professionals in sales, research, recruiting, and operations seeking to automate browser tasks. Its Product Hunt debut earned “Product of the Day” and “Product of the Week,” highlighting rapid user interest and positive feedback from startups, freelancers, and growing teams. Early adopters praise the platform’s collaborative intelligence, autonomy, and cross-app flexibility in transforming routine digital work.
