Sophos NDR provides critical visibility into network activity that other products miss by detecting suspicious behaviors extending beyond firewalls and endpoints. It monitors network activity for malicious patterns, identifying abnormal traffic flows from unmanaged systems and IoT devices, rogue assets, insider threats, zero-day attacks, and unusual patterns deep within the network. By working together with managed endpoints and firewalls, Sophos NDR enables early detection and automatic response, using cross-product automation between NDR, XDR, MDR, and Firewall to stop active threats. The platform utilizes five independent detection engines, including Data Detection Engine, Deep Packet Inspection, Encrypted Payload Analysis, Domain Generation Algorithm, and Session Risk Analytics, providing valuable insights and enabling deep investigations via the Sophos Central and Sophos NDR Investigation Console.
