Sign up & trial setup
Create an account via the “Sign Up Free” button, entering your details, selecting POS, eCommerce platforms, and enabling the “I need help” checkbox for an assisted setup within the 14-day free trial.
Email verification & onboarding wizard
Confirm your email, then SKU IQ initiates the Setup Wizard (or you can manually open it in the Dashboard). The wizard guides you to connect your POS and eCommerce stores.
Connect your POS
Authenticate and authorise your POS (e.g., Square, Clover, Lightspeed). Multi-location Square or Lightspeed can be configured by contacting support—a typical delay of a few business days, depending on complexity.
Connect the eCommerce channel
Repeat authentication for Shopify, WooCommerce, etc. For TikTok + Shopify workflows, additional prerequisites (e.g., matching shipping address, cache clearing) must be fulfilled before connection.
Product linking & catalogue migration
Use the Link Report to match existing SKUs across systems. Once linked, bulk-push unmatched SKUs via the dashboard. Retailers may request assistance for bulk migration (free up to 50K SKUs for annual plans).
Configure your sync
Support enables automatic syncing of new SKUs and variants in the desired direction (POS→eCommerce or vice versa). You also choose whether to maintain native product creation workflows.
Order & quantity sync testing
Perform test sales to verify inventory adjustments. Note: order sync timing can range from seconds (inventory) to several hours (order)—especially with larger data sets.
Launch & optimization
After connecting and testing, SKU IQ begins full 2-way syncing. Troubleshooting FAQs and common issue guides assist with setting up edge cases.
Typical timeline: Simple integrations (single POS + eComm) often complete within 1–2 days. Multi-location, TikTok, or Squarespace setups may require 3–7 days or more, especially when support needs to enable your account.
Phone & priority support on higher-tier plans.

SKU IQ operates as a cloud-based SaaS platform, so updates are managed centrally and applied automatically without requiring user intervention. Users are notified of major changes through email announcements, dashboard alerts, and Help Center articles. This approach ensures minimal disruption and continuous improvement without extra maintenance effort on your side.
SKU IQ’s Privacy Policy and GDPR compliance statement confirm that retailers retain ownership of their data. SKU IQ acts as a data processor, facilitating synchronization between your POS and eCommerce platforms without claiming rights over your product, order, or customer data. Users can request data export or deletion at any time to comply with GDPR and other privacy regulations. Data portability is supported through API-driven integrations, meaning you can disconnect SKU IQ and continue using your original systems without losing access to your data. SKU IQ also assists catalog migration and bulk exports during onboarding or offboarding.
SKU IQ uses a tiered, usage-based pricing model, making scaling straightforward. You can upgrade or downgrade plans at any time based on order volume and number of locations. For example:
