RoomPriceGenie is a cloud-based revenue management system founded in 2017 in Zug, Switzerland. Empowered by AI and algorithms refined from financial trading practices, it delivers dynamic pricing, competitive benchmarking, forecasting, and seamless integration with over 65 PMS and channel managers. Targeting independent hotels, B&Bs, serviced apartments, and small chains, it simplifies revenue optimization for properties of all sizes.
Co-founded by Ari Andricopoulos (CEO, now CSO), Marvin Speh, Jörg Siegel, and Ramanan, the company was motivated by a real-world challenge—boosting revenue for Ari’s father’s small B&B in England, achieving a +$50k uplift in one year. From its early days responding to small hoteliers’ pain points, RoomPriceGenie has grown to support nearly 3,000 hotel clients across 65 countries, with a 2025 revenue of $9.7 M and approximately 88 employees.
The platform has raised $78.4 M over 4 rounds, including seed (2019), series A (2021, 2023), and a Series B in February 2025. Lead investors include Five Elms Capital, Mutschler Ventures, Founderful, BADideas.fund, and Venture Kick. Post-Series B valuation stood around $75 M, fueling global expansion and new OpenAPI integrations.
Key features include fully automated dynamic pricing with up to 24 daily updates, 18-month forecasting, competitive rate monitoring, event-based adjustments, and PMS sync (65–80+ systems supported). It’s especially user-friendly, offering guided onboarding, autopilot/manual modes, and transparent analytics dashboards. Core modules include surge protection, minimum stay rules, custom alerts, and a learning academy.
The 2025 product roadmap emphasizes automation, analytics, calendar control, surge protection, and workflow efficiency. Recent additions include free modules like the HotelTech Academy and an ROI calculator. OpenAPI remains a standout feature, making integration with PMS seamless and cost-effective.
