Paced Email
By Jemcode Limited
Paced Email is a UK‑based, privacy‑first productivity platform that lets users create email aliases and schedule when messages reach their primary inbox—batching newsletters and notifications into daily, weekly, or monthly digests. The service positions itself as “calm, distraction‑free, anonymous, secure, private,” and works with any email provider without downloads. Public materials refer to its operator as Jemcode Limited, with public listings indicating UK registration and contact details; the product branding and site make clear that Paced Email is UK‑run and remote‑first.
Paced Email emphasizes productivity via pacing, privacy via masking, and flexibility via integrations and custom domains. It is accessible directly via the web, with browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari to generate aliases on the fly.
Paced Email launched publicly in early 2020 and has since iterated with frequent product updates documented on its official blog. Notable milestones include Paced Email 2.0 (October–November 2021), U2F security key support (November 2021), regular feature updates in 2022, and continuing releases in September 2023 and June 2024. These entries highlight an ongoing, steady development cadence typical of a lean, founder‑led SaaS.
The brand narrative and external profiles suggest a solo‑ or small‑team operation led by a founder who also appears behind adjacent products (e.g., Vend Email and Kruh Founders Circle). Public materials for these sister initiatives identify Rikki Pitt as the creator, linking him to Paced Email’s origin and growth story.
Growth indicators include claims of 50,000+ users and 300+ five‑star reviews, reflecting traction among professionals seeking inbox control and privacy. Third‑party platforms (G2, Capterra, Software Advice) show high aggregate ratings and positive sentiment focused on productivity gains and inbox decluttering.
Paced Email’s core proposition is time‑controlled email delivery via aliases and digest scheduling:
Plans range from free (limited aliases) to Standard and Premium (unlimited aliases/domains/rules) and Enterprise (custom contracts, higher limits, premium support). Annual billing offers savings; student/nonprofit discounts are available.
Recent releases focus on usability, automation, and security:
The official blog provides a chronology of changes through June 2024, indicating continued, periodic improvements aligned with user feedback.
Paced Email’s messaging underscores focus, calm, privacy, and control. The product encourages asynchronous work—“deal with email in bulk”—which resonates with modern knowledge‑work cultures seeking fewer interruptions. Security and privacy commitments include clear statements that user data is not sold or shared, minimal data collection for service operation, and GDPR‑aligned processing documented in a Data Processing Agreement. The chat support “directly from the founder” and public responsiveness in reviews suggest a customer‑centric, hands‑on culture typical of bootstrapped SaaS.
