CoConstruct

CoConstruct is a leading construction project management software designed specifically for custom home builders and remodelers. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools to manage various aspects of construction projects, including project scheduling, financial management, client communication, and more. CoConstruct aims to simplify the complex processes involved in residential construction, helping builders and remodelers increase efficiency and profitability.

CoConstruct was founded in 2004 by Donny Wyatt in Charlottesville, Virginia, after a frustrating personal experience with home building. The company quickly grew, moving into its first headquarters in 2014 and making its first appearance on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies. In 2021, CoConstruct announced a partnership with Buildertrend and CBUSA, further solidifying its position in the industry.

CoConstruct has raised a total of $1.5 million over three funding rounds. The most recent funding event was its acquisition by Buildertrend on February 24, 2021, backed by investments from Bain Capital Tech Opportunities and HGGC. This acquisition aimed to create the largest construction management software platform dedicated to empowering homebuilders, contractors, and remodelers.

CoConstruct offers a wide range of features designed to streamline construction project management:

• Project Management: Scheduling, task management, and job logs.
• Financial Management: Integration with QuickBooks, budgeting, and expense tracking.
• Client and Team Communication: Client portals, messaging, and document sharing.
• Estimating and Proposals: Customizable templates for accurate estimates and proposals.
• Mobile Accessibility: Mobile app for real-time updates and time tracking

In December 2020, CoConstruct acquired CBUSA, the nation's largest homebuilder group purchasing organization. This acquisition aimed to enhance CoConstruct's offerings by providing better procurement options and cost savings for its users. The partnership with Buildertrend in 2021 further expanded its capabilities, integrating more advanced features and creating a unified platform for construction management.

Recent updates and new features in CoConstruct include:

• Digital Measuring Tools: To reduce errors and ensure accurate estimates.
• Enhanced Financial Tracking: Real-time expense tracking and receipt management.
• Advanced CRM Hub: Tools for lead management, digital proposals, and email marketing.
• Training and Support: In-person and virtual training events to help users maximize the software's potential.
