Checkfirst was founded in 2021 by Benjamin Lambert, who was inspired by the challenges faced in his wife's property inspection business in Portugal. Recognizing the inefficiencies in on-site inspections and delays in reporting, Lambert developed Checkfirst to facilitate remote inspections and streamline inspector scheduling. Since its inception, Checkfirst has grown rapidly, leveraging AI to revolutionize the Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance (TICC) sector.
Checkfirst has raised a total of $1.5 million in pre-seed funding, with significant investments from Olisipo Way, Hiero VC, Notion Capital, and various angel investors. The company's enterprise valuation is estimated to be between $6 million and $9 million as of May 2024. This financial backing signifies robust investor confidence in Checkfirst's mission to advance the TICC industry through AI-driven scheduling and inspection software.
