AXEL Go

AXEL Go is a privacy-first cloud storage and file-sharing platform that redefines how individuals and businesses manage digital content. Founded in 2020 by Tony Tan and Ben Ow, AXEL Go is part of AXEL.org, a Las Vegas-based IT company focused on data sovereignty and security. The platform was built in response to growing concerns over data exploitation by big tech companies, offering users a secure, decentralized alternative that prioritizes privacy and control. At its core, AXEL Go provides secure file sharing, encrypted cloud storage, and document retrieval capabilities. Users can send files of any size using Secure Share, which allows for password protection, expiration dates, and access control. Secure Fetch enables users to request files from others through encrypted links, ensuring that sensitive documents are safely transferred without requiring recipients to have an AXEL Go account. These features are powered by AES-256-bit encryption—the same standard used by government agencies—and a decentralized server network that fragments and distributes data across multiple nodes, making unauthorized access virtually impossible. One of AXEL Go’s standout innovations is its use of blockchain and Web3 technologies. Unlike centralized platforms that store data in a few locations, AXEL Go’s decentralized infrastructure ensures redundancy and resilience. If one server is compromised or goes offline, the data remains secure and accessible from other nodes. This architecture not only enhances security but also improves uptime and reliability. AXEL Go is designed for a wide range of users. Freelancers can use it to deliver work securely to clients, while small businesses benefit from features like eSignatures, team collaboration tools, and branded share links. Legal professionals, in particular, find value in AXEL Go’s metadata preservation and secure document collection, which supports compliance and defensible evidence handling. The platform is available across desktop, mobile, and web, with integrations for Slack, Outlook, and other productivity tools. Pricing is flexible, starting with a free plan that includes 10 GB of storage and limited sharing capabilities. Paid plans begin at $1.99/month for individuals and scale up to $39.99/month for teams, offering up to 1 TB of storage, unlimited shares and fetches, advanced admin controls, and on-premise storage options for enterprise clients. AXEL Go’s commitment to privacy is evident in its policies. The company pledges never to sell user data, build backdoors, or compromise user trust. This ethical stance, combined with its technical robustness, positions AXEL Go as a trustworthy alternative to mainstream cloud services.

AXEL Go distinguishes itself in the crowded cloud storage and file-sharing market through its unwavering commitment to privacy, decentralized infrastructure, and advanced security features. While competitors like Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive offer robust storage and collaboration tools, AXEL Go’s unique value lies in its privacy-first approach and blockchain-powered architecture. Unlike traditional cloud services that rely on centralized servers, AXEL Go uses a decentralized network to store and transmit data. This means files are broken into encrypted shards and distributed across multiple nodes, making it nearly impossible for hackers or unauthorized entities to access complete data sets. This method not only enhances security but also ensures data redundancy and uptime, even if one server fails. Security is another area where AXEL Go excels. It employs AES-256 bit encryption, two-factor authentication, and zero-trust protocols to safeguard user data. These features are built into the platform, requiring no technical expertise from users. In contrast, many competitors offer encryption as an optional or premium feature, leaving users vulnerable by default.
