بواسطة Alkimii
Alkimii People is a cloud-based HR and workforce management platform tailored for the hospitality industry. It is part of the broader Alkimii suite, which also includes Alkimii Property and Alkimii Insights. The company is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and was founded by Ronan McAuley, a former hotelier and IT director, who created the platform to solve operational inefficiencies he experienced firsthand.
Alkimii’s mission is to simplify hospitality operations by offering intuitive, mobile-first tools that centralize HR, payroll, scheduling, and communication. The platform is designed to be human-centered, scalable, and compliant with global standards like GDPR.
Founded in 2014, Alkimii emerged from stealth in 2017 with five core services. The idea was born from McAuley’s frustration with managing payroll and rosters using spreadsheets while running his own hotel. This led to the development of a platform that could streamline operations and improve visibility for hospitality teams.
Alkimii has grown steadily, reaching $3.4 million in revenue by 2024, up from $2.7M in 2023 and $1.3M in 2021. It now serves over 460 hospitality businesses, including major hotel groups like Dalata, and has expanded into the UK and US markets.
Alkimii is a private, equity-backed company. It has raised approximately $8.15 million in funding, with key investors including SaaS Capital and Enterprise Ireland. The company also received €4.1 million in EIIS investment in 2020 and 2021 to support product development and international expansion.
While its exact valuation is not publicly disclosed, its consistent revenue growth and strategic partnerships suggest a strong market position in the hospitality tech space.
