Auto-Renewal: USEReady contracts typically include an auto-renewal clause, where the agreement is automatically extended for successive periods (usually one year) unless either party provides notice of termination in accordance with the agreement's termination provisions.
Termination Notice: Either party can terminate the agreement by providing notice of termination before the end of the current term. The specific notice period required is usually outlined in the contract.
USEReady's support obligations are only in respect of the most current version of the product. If maintenance lapses for less than twelve months, it can be reinstated by paying the maintenance fees for the lapsed period plus a reinstatement fee. If maintenance lapses for more than twelve months, a new license must be purchased.
Data Ownership and Portability: USEReady's privacy policy states that users have the right to access, correct, delete, or transfer their personal information. This includes the right to data portability, allowing users to receive their personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Data Security: USEReady adopts reasonable and appropriate security practices, including administrative, physical, and technical controls, to safeguard personal information. This ensures data protection and compliance with relevant regulations.
Contract Termination: Upon termination of the contract, all licenses granted under the agreement immediately terminate. The customer must return or delete all copies of the software and any confidential information belonging to USEReady. The customer will not have access to their data after termination, so they should export their data before the contract ends.
