Everlance is a mileage and expense management company focused on automating reimbursement and tax workflows for mobile workers and the organisations that employ them. Its core platform combines a top‑rated GPS mileage tracking app with a web admin console so both individuals and businesses can capture trips, manage expenses, and generate compliant reports with minimal manual work.
Everlance was launched in 2015 by co‑founder and CEO Alex Marlantes, initially targeting independent workers who needed simple, automated mileage logs for taxes. As usage grew, the team noticed many users were employees submitting mileage to managers, which led to the creation of Everlance Business to support organizations with structured reimbursement programs and centralized controls. The company has since grown to over 1 million users, positioning itself as a modern alternative to manual logs and legacy reimbursement processes.
Everlance’s offering spans two main lines: the self‑employed app and Everlance Business. Core features include automatic GPS mileage tracking, one‑swipe trip classification, expense import from linked cards, receipt capture, AI‑assisted deduction finding, and IRS‑compliant exportable logs. Everlance Business adds a central dashboard, policy configuration, multi‑level approvals, reimbursements (CPM, FAVR, stipends), integrations with HR/payroll/accounting systems, and analytics so finance and HR teams can manage large mobile workforces.
Culturally, Everlance presents itself as user‑centric, emphasizing simplicity, customer service, and empowerment of mobile workers “wherever their work takes them.” Marketing and blog content highlight saving time, reducing admin friction, and increasing fairness and accuracy in reimbursements, aligning with values of transparency and cost control for both workers and employers. The company also leans into privacy and trust, publicly committing not to sell user data and investing in security and compliance as part of its brand promise.
Everlance’s user base is broad but thematically consistent: gig workers, freelancers, small business owners, delivery and rideshare drivers, sales reps, field service staff, and mid‑market enterprises with large mobile teams. Over 1 million users have installed the app, with review platforms describing it as a leading mileage tracker for both individual tax use and business reimbursement programs. An active ecosystem of reviews, partner listings, and educational content (guides, blogs, webinars) forms a loose community, where users share best practices on maximizing deductions, setting up vehicle programs, and comparing Everlance to alternatives like MileIQ and Expensify.
