Teledentix
By Virtual Dental Care
Comprehensive Teledentistry: Users praise it for being a fully-comprehensive, all-in-one platform, managing the entire teledentistry and mobile dental program, not just video calls.
Patient Portal & Scheduling: The platform offers a robust and user-friendly Patient Portal that allows patients to schedule appointments on their own (24/7), fill out digital forms, and access educational materials, significantly streamlining patient processes.
Mobility and Accessibility: It's considered a "must-have" for mobile dental practices due to its multi-device support (PC, laptop, iOS, Android app) and ability to manage multiple treatment locations.
Collaboration & Referrals: The software facilitates seamless communication and collaboration with other providers (specialists, MDs), offering HIPAA-compliant tools for sending and receiving media-rich referrals and discussing cases.
Security and Compliance : Teledentix is highlighted as being HIPAA-compliant and secure for sharing sensitive patient information.
Integration and Merchant Services: A recurring minor complaint is the need to set up a separate merchant account for payment processing, rather than integrating with the practice's existing one.
Core Dental Charting: The dental chart is sometimes described as "challenging" or needing more "detailed improvement" compared to other features.
