Exceptional Support & Customization: Users overwhelmingly praise the responsive, direct-access support and in-house development team. MPX is highly valued for offering one-on-one development time to bespoke-tailor the system to a client's exact needs, making users feel the team is an "invaluable extension" of their own.
System Consolidation (BOSS): The core strength is its ability to serve as a single source solution, unifying previously fragmented systems (like Inventory, CRM, Sales, Logistics, and Finance) into one platform. This is cited as massively improving business efficiency and accuracy.
Real-Time Inventory & E-commerce: Highly effective at providing real-time visibility and control over stock across multiple locations. It seamlessly integrates with major e-commerce channels to sync inventory, reduce overselling, and streamline fulfillment.
Flexibility & Scalability: The software is described as adaptable and easy to use, supporting rapid business growth without the need to switch platforms. It offers scalable design and customisable, modular functionality.
Pricing Model & Access: Praised for offering a flat-rate model that often includes unlimited users, which helps businesses scale their teams without incurring extra costs. The direct, non-ticketing support system is also a significant plus.
Reporting Visuals: The most common complaint is that the reporting features, while functional, lack visual appeal and could be "prettier and more dynamic," sometimes requiring export or manipulation for better presentation.
External Integration Limitations: Some external resources indicate that MPX does not offer a public-facing API. While they manage many integrations internally, businesses requiring connections to highly specific or proprietary external systems may find this limiting.
Minor Workflow Friction: Some users have noted minor issues in specific areas, such as a wish for the ability to update equipment directly during import or occasional reliance on manual data manipulation (like Excel) in certain older workflows.
