MPX is a UK-based SaaS provider offering a “Business Operating System as a Service” (BOSS) that unifies ERP, CRM, supply chain, warehousing, finance, and reporting into a single cloud platform for operationally intensive SMEs and mid-market firms. The company focuses on replacing multiple disconnected tools and browser tabs with one system that runs all departments and every operation, with particular traction in refurbished electronics, haulage/transport, utilities, and asset-heavy distribution businesses.
The core MPX offering is a unified BOSS platform that includes: real-time SKU and stock visibility, reservations, and serial/asset tracking; multichannel sales order capture (including Amazon and bulk uploads); full warehouse workflows from receiving through picking, packing, and booking stock out; CRM and lead management with email, voice, and SMS tracking; purchasing, invoicing, payment tracking, and credit notes with accounting package integration; and MaX analytics for in-platform reporting and insights. The system is designed to handle cross-department operations so that operational, commercial, and financial data all live in one place.
MPX states that “most of our new features are built as a direct request from one of our existing customers,” and that many of these are then released to everyone at no extra cost. The company regularly releases new versions of each customer’s system and communicates exactly what’s changed, indicating a continuous delivery model with an incremental roadmap rooted in real operational use cases rather than speculative features. Recent blog content and materials emphasise enhanced reporting, MaX AI‑assisted insights, better integration capabilities, and workflow improvements to reduce manual reporting and data handling.
The messaging, testimonials, and support model all point to a high‑touch, partnership-oriented culture. MPX stresses that there are “no ticketing systems, no phone queues,” and that customers have direct access to the team, including via WhatsApp, with the expectation that it should feel like MPX is part of the customer’s own team. Customer quotes describe the team as “amazing, so helpful and professional,” praising fast development, willingness to solve bespoke problems, and ongoing iteration (“each time we have an update, the whole team can’t wait to see it and use it”). This suggests values centred on responsiveness, practical problem-solving, and long-term relationships rather than purely self-serve SaaS.
MPX serves a focused but diverse user base across refurbished consumer electronics, road haulage and transport, utilities, building materials, and other asset- or warehouse-heavy industries where end-to-end operational control is critical. Review platforms show a moderate number of customers, with high ratings for adaptability, support, and the ability to build exactly what the business needs, alongside acknowledgement that it is a core, business‑critical tool (“THE essential tool for a growing tech refurbishment business”). Community interaction seems to be built more around close vendor–customer relationships, feedback‑driven feature development, and case‑study storytelling than around a large, open public forum or marketplace ecosystem.
