FIBRES is highly customizable to fit specific business and foresight needs:
Custom taxonomy and repository structure: Organizations can build their own categories for signals, trends, drivers, and scenarios, reflecting unique industry terms, priorities, or business model contexts.
Flexible source integration: Users can connect a broad range of external feeds (news, expert blogs, industry reports) as well as internal knowledge sources and datasets, tailoring the platform’s input channels to their intelligence ecosystem.
AI and manual tagging: Both AI-assisted and manual tagging/categorization can be configured to reflect organizational language, keywords, or structured signal management approaches.
Trend radar and map visualizations: Teams can design custom radar parameters, map layouts, and scenario mappings to match internal reporting or strategic planning preferences.
Scenario planning templates: Customizable templates and collaborative tools support business-specific scenario building, opportunity mapping, and risk analysis.
Notifications and workflow automation: Alerts, reminders, and update cycles can be tailored for different user roles, teams, and priority areas.
Access rights and collaboration: User roles, access permissions, and sharing options are configurable, supporting secure, tailored collaboration (including cross-unit or multi-organization foresight initiatives).
Dashboard and analytics: Dashboards, reports, and analytics can be structured to align with key performance indicators (KPIs), critical foresight domains, or leadership reporting needs.
Export and data sharing: Reports, dashboards, signals, and maps can all be exported or integrated into other enterprise platforms using standard formats to support further analysis or sharing.
FIBRES offers extensive training and support to help new users rapidly adopt and maximize the platform’s foresight capabilities:
Guided onboarding and platform walkthroughs are provided to orient teams on key features—including trend scanning, signal documentation, custom taxonomy building, and dashboard setup.
Self-service help resources, such as comprehensive documentation, video tutorials, and best-practice guides, are accessible within the platform, supporting independent learning.
Live support channels, including email and in-app chat, enable users to receive prompt answers on technical issues, configuration questions, or workflow optimization.
Dedicated customer success specialists assist with account setup, integration, taxonomy design, and collaborative foresight process rollout where needed.
Webinars, client workshops, and new feature briefings keep users updated on platform enhancements and advanced usage strategies.
Training is available for both administrators (covering repository structuring, permissions, and integration management) and team members (on collaborative foresight workflows).
FIBRES applies multiple security measures to protect user and organisational foresight data:
Data encryption: All data stored in FIBRES is encrypted at rest and in transit, ensuring information is protected during both storage and transfer.
Role-based access control: The platform allows administrators to assign and manage user roles and permissions, ensuring that only authorised users can access, edit, or share sensitive strategic content.
Secure cloud hosting: FIBRES operates on trusted, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with robust physical, network, and backup security protocols in place.
Regular security updates: The platform is routinely updated with the latest security patches and software improvements to address new vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with current standards.
Activity logging and audit trails: FIBRES maintains logs of key actions and access, providing transparency and accountability which support compliance and data governance needs.
Compliance with privacy laws: FIBRES follows industry best practices to support regulations like GDPR, including features for data export, deletion, and user privacy rights management.
Data export and ownership: Users retain ownership of their contributed and curated data, with the ability to export their repository for backup or migration at any time.
FIBRES releases updates and new features frequently—typically on a monthly basis or even faster—using an agile, cloud-based delivery model. Updates are managed centrally and deployed automatically, ensuring all users always access the latest security patches, enhancements, and innovations without any manual installation or service disruption. Users are informed about new features and changes through in-app notifications, platform release notes, and customer communication channels, supporting smooth adoption and continuous improvement of the platform's foresight and intelligence capabilities.
FIBRES maintains a clear policy ensuring users retain full data ownership and portability:
Data ownership: All content—signals, trends, documents, annotations, and scenario maps—created or stored in FIBRES remains the exclusive property of the user or client organisation. FIBRES acts only as a processor, not as a proprietor of user data.
Data portability: Users can export their entire foresight repository, including tagged signals, trend categories, scenario plans, and visualizations, in standard formats for backup, offline analysis, or migration to other platforms.
Self-service access: Administrators control permissions for user access, data downloads, and sharing, ensuring compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and internal governance policies.
Retention and deletion: Upon contract end or user request, FIBRES supports full data export and secure deletion in line with global regulatory requirements (such as GDPR) and specific organisational mandates.
FIBRES offers flexible terms that allow organizations to scale up or down in response to changing requirements:
Organizations can upgrade their subscription at any time to add users, expand feature sets, or increase repository limits, with billing adjusted on a pro-rata basis for the expanded service level.
Downgrading—reducing seats, restricting access, or moving to a lower-tier plan—can typically be managed via the account portal and is effective at the end of the current billing period, with future charges matched to the chosen plan.
No penalties or hidden fees are charged for scaling; clients pay only for the active users and features in their subscribed plan.
Platform administrators can adjust permissions, user access rights, and data visibility as organizational needs shift, including supporting departmental restructuring or changes in team size.
All foresight data and historical records remain accessible through scaling transitions, ensuring continuity for analysis and collaboration.
FIBRES support team provides guidance and assistance during major scaling events or migrations.
FIBRES follows transparent terms for contract renewal and cancellation, aligned with standard SaaS practices:
Automatic renewal: Subscriptions typically auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle or contracted term unless users provide cancellation notice before the renewal date.
Cancellation policy: Users can cancel at any time via the self-service portal or by contacting support, with access continuing until the end of the current paid period.
Notice period: Advance notice is generally required before renewal to avoid the next cycle's charges; specifics may vary by plan or contract.
Refunds: Fees for completed billing cycles are usually non-refundable unless otherwise stipulated or required by law.
Service scaling: Users may adjust their plan (upgrade, downgrade, or change license quantities) at renewal, with pricing recalculated for the new subscription level.
Data export and retention: Upon cancellation, users can export their entire Foresight repository and trend data before the final account closure; the platform may retain data temporarily according to the privacy policy before secure deletion.
Termination for cause: Contracts allow for immediate termination by FIBRES in cases of material breach, payment default, or regulatory violation, with provisions for data handling and retrieval.
Surviving terms: Confidentiality, privacy, and liability obligations remain enforceable after termination to protect user data.
FIBRES is designed to meet key compliance standards for secure and responsible foresight intelligence management:
GDPR compliance: The platform supports full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, providing tools and protocols for data access, correction, deletion, and export to protect user privacy and fulfill data subject rights.
Data privacy and ownership: All user and organizational data remains under the exclusive control of the customer, with robust mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access, sharing, or retention.
Role-based access and audit logging: FIBRES employs granular permissions and comprehensive activity logs to help organizations maintain IT governance and internal audit requirements in line with industry standards.
Secure cloud hosting and encryption: FIBRES is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with data encrypted at rest and in transit, ensuring information security for sensitive strategic content.
