CORE smartwork
بواسطة CORE smartwork GmbH
CORE smartwork follows a straightforward, modular implementation process:
Needs Assessment & Module Selection
You begin by choosing a plan—Lite, Standard, or Advanced—and selecting the specific modules you want (e.g., Chat, Surveys, Academy). CORE advises starting with core communication modules like Newsfeed, Community, Atmosphere, and Genius.
Configuration & Setup
Administrative setup involves configuring user roles, permissions, branding (logo, dashboard), and enabling or customizing chosen modules. This also includes setting up multilingual options as needed.
Data & Interface Integration
If you need connectivity to other systems (e.g., HRIS or ERP), CORE supports integration via REST API or custom connectors.
Training & Pilot Testing
CORE is designed for ease of use, so only administrators typically require guided training. A pilot phase may be used to validate workflows and user adoption.
Go-Live Rollout
A limited launch with selected user groups precedes full launch. Users then access the solution via web or a branded mobile app.
Ongoing Support & Optimization
Post-launch support includes UX adjustments, additional module activations, multilingual extensions, and continuous updates.

CORE smartwork is highly customizable across multiple dimensions:
Scalable Rollout & Module Expansion
You can start small with Lite modules and dynamically expand—adding modules like E‑learning, Recruitment, Corporate TV, Wellness, Shop, Floor‑plan, Daily Stand‑up—based on evolving business requirements.
CORE smartwork primarily offers per-user/per-month pricing with module-based flexibility. Their publicly listed pricing outlines three tiers—Lite at €1.99/user/month, and Standard and Advanced at custom pricing depending on module selection. The website does not explicitly mention setup fees, maintenance charges, or extra support costs. This implies that:
Nevertheless, for highly customized integrations or enterprise setups (especially in Advanced tier customers), there may be custom implementation or integration fees—typically quoted separately upon request.
CORE smartwork provides a robust onboarding system and resources to ensure smooth deployment and adoption:
Full rollout support, including coaching and best-practices advice
While there’s no explicit mention of 24/7 help desks or dedicated account managers, user reviews and feature descriptions suggest strong implementation support, reducing the burden on internal teams.
So, new users receive a full package of built-in e-learning, administrative guidance, and continuous improvement support post-launch.
CORE smartwork places considerable emphasis on data security and GDPR compliance:
In essence, CORE’s security framework ensures confidentiality, integrity, and availability of user data through encryption, access controls, EU-based hosting, and alignment with GDPR’s advanced security standards.
CORE smartwork regularly releases new features and improvements to keep the platform modern and responsive. For example, a major update in May 2024 introduced an integrated chat function, redesigned mobile UI, and enhanced navigation—demonstrating that feature-rich updates occur multiple times a year. Updates are managed centrally by Core’s development team and are seamlessly deployed via their cloud infrastructure. Users benefit from automatic background updates for both mobile and web applications, with new capabilities becoming available immediately—no manual intervention required. While a formal release schedule isn’t published, CORE emphasizes continuous improvement driven by user feedback and emerging communication trends.
CORE smartwork maintains a customer-centric data ownership policy. All organizational and employee data created within the platform remains the property of the customer. The company ensures data residency within chosen jurisdictions—either GDPR-compliant EU cloud hosting or fully private on-premises deployments—granting clients full control over their data storage and location.
In alignment with GDPR standards, CORE enables data portability by providing mechanisms for structured data export. Users can retrieve their own personal data, and companies can export organizational content—such as user records, messages, surveys, and training completions—in standardized, machine-readable formats like CSV or JSON. This ensures organizations can transition to other platforms or back up their content without vendor lock-in.
CORE Smartwork’s modular architecture provides flexible scaling options:
Scale Down: Organizations can reduce scope by removing unnecessary modules or lowering user licenses. Since the platform uses a modular subscription model, unused modules can be deactivated to lower costs in future billing cycles.
The flexibility allows companies to adjust coverage according to changing needs—growing teams, seasonal hiring, or evolving workflows—without long-term commitments. Module and user changes are reflected automatically in the billing system, facilitating smooth scaling aligned to business demands.
CORE smartwork complies with several key security and regulatory frameworks:
