Approveit provides a cloud-based, no-code approval and workflow automation platform that replaces ad‑hoc approvals in email and chat with structured, auditable processes. It targets organisations that need better control over spend, access, and operational decisions, but do not want to roll out a heavy BPM or ERP suite, positioning itself as the dedicated “approvals layer” that connects collaboration platforms with finance and business systems.
Approveit, Inc. is a relatively young SaaS company operating globally with a fully remote, distributed team. Its founders and leadership have backgrounds in product and operations automation; CEO Dmitry (Dimmy) Matveev is publicly active discussing workflow automation and AI for approvals, indicating a founder-led product strategy. The product has grown from a Slack-focused approvals bot into a multi-surface platform spanning Slack, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and email, with growing traction among finance and operations teams as seen in listings on Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft marketplaces
Approveit’s core product is a no-code approvals and workflow automation platform delivered as SaaS. Key capabilities include a drag‑and‑drop workflow builder for multi-step, conditional approval chains; custom request forms; dynamic approvers based on role, spend thresholds or other fields; real-time notifications; SLA-based escalations; and complete audit trails with exportable approval records and PDFs. It integrates deeply with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Webex and email so approvers can act on requests without changing tools.
On the finance side, Approveit supports purchase order approvals, invoice/bill approvals, expense approvals, vendor onboarding and budget approvals, and integrates with accounting systems like Xero, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and SoftLedger, as well as Google Sheets. For IT and HR, it automates access requests, device/software provisioning, time-off approvals, and employee onboarding/offboarding workflows, while logging every step for security and compliance. A central approvals inbox and reporting views give finance and operations leaders visibility into statuses, bottleneck,s and policy adherence.
Recent feature waves focus on AI, finance automation and usability. Approveit introduced an “AI Decision Engine” that can evaluate purchase orders and other requests using rules and trained models to identify low-risk, in-policy approvals suitable for auto-approval and flag higher-risk ones for human review, with full auditability. It has published guidance on “AI-powered PO workflows” using thresholds, templates and AI-based risk scoring, as well as content about AI workflow agents and dynamic fields, signalling a roadmap where AI assists both in building workflows and making smarter approval decisions. The company also ships frequent UX and builder enhancements—such as dynamic form fields, improved templates, and better integration flows—captured in blog posts, guides and YouTube feature demos.
Approveit publicly emphasises values around operational visibility, accountability and trust. Its messaging highlights “full control over business operations,” centralised decision-making, and audit-ready records, aimed at finance, procurement and IT leaders who need both agility and governance. The team culture appears remote-first and product-centric, with a strong focus on listening to user feedback and shipping frequent improvements, as noted in user reviews that mention responsiveness and willingness to adapt the product to new use cases. Privacy and responsible AI are also highlighted: the company states that it does not send customer data or personally identifiable information to third-party AI systems and positions AI as a tool under strict customer guardrails, reflecting a cautious approach to AI in compliance-conscious environments.
Approveit’s user base consists mainly of SMB and mid-market organisations that rely heavily on Slack or Microsoft Teams and want to bring structure to approvals across finance, procurement, HR and IT without adopting heavy BPM/ERP tools. Typical customers include SaaS companies, agencies, distributed teams and finance-led organisations that integrate Approveit with Xero or QuickBooks to tighten spend control. Marketplace reviews on G2, Capterra and Xero’s app store cite ease of use, rapid setup, strong Slack/Teams experience and solid accounting integrations as key positives, with some users noting a desire for even more advanced reporting and configuration in complex environments. Approveit engages its community through guides, onboarding content, webinars and social channels, but its “community” is primarily embedded in the collaboration platforms it supports rather than in a standalone user forum.
