Hosted on AWS: Booqable’s infrastructure is managed within Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers, which are accredited under ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2, PCI Level 1, FISMA, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards.
Physical Security: AWS data centers feature strict access controls, professional security staff, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and multi-factor authentication for authorized personnel. Facilities are protected by setback perimeters and monitored 24/7.
Encryption: All sensitive data is encrypted during transmission and at rest, using industry-standard protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
PCI Compliance: Payment data is processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 compliant payment processor, ensuring secure handling of credit card information.
GDPR and CCPA Compliance: Booqable adheres to GDPR and CCPA requirements, limiting data collection to legitimate purposes, obtaining explicit consent where needed, and providing users with rights to access, correct, or delete their data.
Role-Based Permissions: User access is restricted by role, allowing granular control over who can view or manage sensitive information.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Optional enforcement of 2FA for all users adds an extra layer of login security.
Single Sign-On (SSO): Supports integration with SSO providers for centralized and secure access management.
IP Restrictions: Ability to block logins from unapproved locations, further controlling access to the platform.
DDoS Mitigation: Advanced techniques such as TCP Syn cookies, connection rate limiting, and collaboration with providers help mitigate Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
Spoofing and Sniffing Protections: Managed firewalls and hypervisor-level isolation prevent IP, MAC, and ARP spoofing, as well as unauthorized packet sniffing.
Application Isolation: Operating system restrictions and encrypted connections reduce risk at all levels of the stack.
Continuous Monitoring: Automated systems and human review monitor for abusive behavior, technical abuse, and suspicious activity.
Abuse Policy: Strict policies prohibit fraudulent, malicious, or illegal activities, with swift action taken against violations, including website removal and account suspension.
Audit Trails: All user actions are logged for accountability and traceability.

Customer Data Remains Yours: All customer data—including inventory, orders, customer lists, and documents—remains the property of the customer. Booqable does not make any proprietary claims over customer data stored or processed on its platform.
No Unauthorized Use: Booqable will not use, sell, or access customer data for any purpose other than providing its rental software service, except as required by law or with explicit customer consent.
Data Processor Role: Under GDPR and similar regulations, Booqable acts as a data processor, while the business using Booqable is the data controller. This means you retain full control over your data, and Booqable only processes it on your behalf.
Export Functionality: Customers can export their data—including orders, inventory, and reports—in standard formats such as Excel or CSV at any time. This facilitates backup, analysis, or migration to other systems.
Right to Data Portability: In compliance with GDPR, customers have the right to request that their personal data be transferred to themselves or a third party, where technically feasible.
Data Deletion and Return: Upon termination of service or at the customer’s request, Booqable will either return all personal data in its original format or destroy it, ensuring no unauthorized retention of customer information.
Booqable is designed for flexibility, allowing rental businesses to scale their operations smoothly according to changing needs. Here’s how the platform supports scaling up or down:
Multiple Plans: Choose from several tiers (Small, Medium, Large, and Scale), each with different user limits and feature sets. Plans can be selected based on your current business size and requirements.
Monthly or Annual Billing: Switch between monthly and annual subscriptions at any time. Annual plans offer a discount over monthly rates.
Upgrade or Downgrade Anytime: You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any point. Upgrades are applied immediately, and any unused time on your current plan is prorated. Downgrades result in account credit for any unused time.
No Setup or Cancellation Fees: There are no additional fees for changing your subscription or canceling your account. You retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period.
User and Location Add-Ons: Add extra users or locations to your account as your team grows, for an additional monthly fee. Remove them anytime if your needs decrease.
Scale Plan: For larger organizations, the Scale plan includes 15 users by default and supports advanced security and centralized management. Additional users or locations can be added as needed.
Unlimited Orders and Products: All plans allow unlimited orders and products, so you only need to scale your plan when your team or operational complexity increases.
Feature Access: Higher-tier plans unlock advanced features (e.g., multi-location inventory, advanced reporting, API access), supporting growth without migrating to a new system.
Self-Service Changes: Manage upgrades, downgrades, and add-ons directly from your account dashboard for instant changes.
Automatic Renewal: Service plans are automatically renewed at the end of each agreed period (monthly or yearly), unless the customer provides notice of non-renewal within the required timeframe.
For monthly plans, Notice must be given at least 7 days before the renewal date.
For plans longer than one month (e.g., annual): Notice must be given at least 30 days before the renewal date.
Renewal Periods: Each renewal period matches the length of the initial period (e.g., a one-year plan renews for another year).
Terms and Pricing: The terms and pricing from the initial period apply to renewal periods unless Booqable notifies the customer of changes in writing:
For monthly plans: At least 14 days before renewal.
For plans longer than one month: At least 60 days before renewal.
Access During Lapsed Plans: If a service plan expires or is terminated, most services become inaccessible until a new plan is agreed. However, account access remains available for data management.
Cancel Anytime: Customers can cancel their account at any time through the Booqable admin dashboard. For security, cancellations cannot be processed by contacting support; they must be initiated by a user with the appropriate permissions.
Notice Period: To avoid being charged for the next period:
Cancel at least 7 days before the renewal date for monthly plans.
Cancel at least 30 days before the renewal date for annual plans.
Access After Cancellation: After cancellation, access to the Booqable admin remains until the end of the current billing period. No further charges are applied after the period ends.
No Refunds: Generally, there are no refunds for unused portions of a paid service plan unless Booqable itself terminates the agreement with notice, in which case a proportional refund is provided for unused time.
Outstanding Payments: All outstanding invoices must be settled before cancellation to prevent additional charges.
Data Management: Customers are advised to export or back up any important data before cancellation. All account data can be deleted upon request or after account closure.
Trial Accounts: Free trial accounts expire automatically at the end of the trial period with no charges. Permanent deletion of trial data can be requested by contacting support.
Provider-Initiated Termination: Booqable may terminate the agreement at any time with a 6-month notice. Immediate termination is possible in cases of breach, bankruptcy, or illegal activity.
