Bloom Growth's policy on data ownership and portability generally focuses on providing users with control over their data, ensuring transparency, and offering flexibility for data migration. Here are the key points:
User-Owned Data: Bloom Growth emphasizes that users retain full ownership of their data. All information entered into the platform, including business data, performance metrics, and strategic goals, remains the property of the user or organization.
No Unauthorized Use: The platform does not use or share customer data for any purpose other than to provide the services requested by the user, unless explicitly agreed upon.
Exporting Data: Bloom Growth allows users to export their data in common formats (e.g., CSV, PDF) to facilitate easy data transfer. This is important for users who may want to analyze data outside the platform or migrate to another service.
Self-Service Export: Users can typically export their own data through the platform’s self-service tools, without requiring direct assistance from Bloom Growth's support team.
Data Access After Termination: Upon terminating a subscription, users are generally given a grace period to download or export their data before access to the platform is fully revoked. Bloom Growth may offer specific timeframes during which users can request their data.
Data Deletion After Termination: After the grace period, Bloom Growth may delete the data permanently from its servers, ensuring that it is no longer stored or used by the company unless otherwise required by law.
Regular Data Backups: Bloom Growth regularly backs up user data to ensure that it can be restored in case of accidental loss or system failures. These backups may be available for a limited time post-termination if requested by the user.
GDPR and Data Portability: For users in regions governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Bloom Growth complies with GDPR’s data portability requirements. This allows users to request a copy of their personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Data Requests and Transfers: Bloom Growth may also offer mechanisms for users to request data transfers to other service providers if needed, in compliance with applicable regulations.
Bloom Growth offers flexible terms to accommodate the changing needs of organizations, allowing them to scale up or down as their requirements evolve. Here are key aspects of the terms for scaling:
Tiered Pricing: Bloom Growth provides multiple pricing tiers or subscription plans based on the size and needs of an organization. This allows companies to choose a plan that fits their current requirements and upgrade or downgrade as their needs change.
Scalability in Features: Each pricing tier typically offers different sets of features, enabling organizations to access more advanced tools or limit access to basic features depending on the chosen plan.
Seamless Transition to Higher Tiers: As organizations grow, they can easily upgrade to a higher plan that offers more advanced features or increased capacity. This process is usually handled directly through the platform, requiring minimal downtime.
Pro-Rated Billing: When scaling up, Bloom Growth often applies pro-rated billing, meaning users only pay for the additional services or features for the remainder of their billing cycle.
Downgrading Subscription Plans: Organizations that need fewer features or a reduced capacity can scale down by switching to a lower-tier plan. This option provides flexibility to reduce costs when necessary.
Timing Considerations: Downgrades are typically allowed at the end of the current billing cycle, ensuring that there are no interruptions in service. Some organizations may need to notify Bloom Growth in advance to trigger the downgrade at the appropriate time.
Adding or Removing Users: Bloom Growth allows organizations to add or remove user licenses based on their workforce size. This is particularly useful for growing companies or those facing seasonal changes in staffing.
Dynamic Pricing Adjustments: The cost is adjusted based on the number of users, making it easy to scale without incurring unnecessary expenses for unused licenses.
Enterprise-Level Scaling: For larger organizations, Bloom Growth may offer customized plans that allow more granular control over scaling. This includes tailored pricing, features, and support packages that adjust as the organization’s needs expand.
Consultative Support: When scaling up or down, Bloom Growth often provides consultative support to help organizations make the best choices for their current and future needs. This support ensures a smooth transition between plans or user licenses.
Month-to-Month Flexibility: Many of Bloom Growth’s plans operate on a month-to-month basis, offering organizations flexibility to scale up or down without being locked into long-term contracts. This makes it easier to adjust spending based on current needs.
Data Retention After Downgrading: When scaling down, Bloom Growth often ensures that data is retained and accessible even with fewer features or user licenses. This avoids data loss when shifting to lower-tier plans.
The terms and conditions for contract renewal and cancellation with Bloom Growth typically emphasize flexibility and transparency. Here are key points regarding renewal and cancellation:
Automatic Renewal: Most Bloom Growth plans are set to automatically renew at the end of the subscription term (monthly or annually), ensuring continuity of service unless otherwise specified by the customer.
Renewal Notification: Users are generally notified before the renewal date, especially for annual plans, allowing them time to make any necessary changes to their subscription or cancel if needed.
Grace Period for Changes: Users may have a grace period (often a few days) around the renewal date to make changes to their plan or to cancel without penalty.
Month-to-Month Plans: For month-to-month subscriptions, users can cancel at any time with no long-term commitment. The cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, allowing full use of the platform until the next billing period.
Annual Contracts: For annual subscriptions, cancellation may not result in an immediate refund. Instead, the contract may continue until the end of the prepaid period. However, some organizations may offer partial refunds or prorated credits depending on the timing of the cancellation and the specific agreement in place.
Advance Notice Requirement: For annual plans, some advance notice may be required before the renewal date if the user wishes to cancel, typically ranging from 30 to 60 days. Failure to provide notice may result in automatic renewal.
No Refunds for Unused Time: Typically, Bloom Growth does not offer refunds for unused time within a subscription period, especially on annual plans. Users will have access to the software for the remainder of their subscription term even if they choose to cancel.
Prorated Refunds (Special Circumstances): In some cases, partial refunds or credits may be offered on a prorated basis, particularly if there are extenuating circumstances, such as a significant change in business needs or if the platform fails to deliver the promised features.
Mid-Term Downgrades: Users may be able to downgrade their plan at the end of a billing cycle without canceling their contract. However, the new lower-tier plan will only take effect at the start of the next cycle.
Prorated Adjustments for Downgrades: In some cases, downgrading from a higher-tier plan might result in prorated adjustments to the billing, ensuring that users only pay for the lower-tier services moving forward.
Breach of Terms: Bloom Growth reserves the right to terminate a user’s subscription if they violate the terms of service, such as misuse of the platform, failure to pay, or breach of data protection policies.
Refund Upon Termination: If Bloom Growth terminates a contract due to user misconduct, refunds are generally not provided.
Data Retention Period: After cancellation, users may have access to their data for a limited time (often 30-60 days) to export or migrate it before it is permanently deleted from the platform.
Data Export Options: Users are typically encouraged to export their data before cancellation, as access to the platform and its features will be limited after termination.
Reactivation Process: If a user decides to re-subscribe after cancellation, they may be able to reactivate their account with minimal disruption. Bloom Growth may retain basic account data for a limited period, making it easy to resume usage.
Restoring Data: Depending on how long the account has been inactive, users might be able to restore previously stored data during reactivation, although this depends on the specific retention policies.
Bloom Growth adheres to a range of compliance standards to ensure data security, privacy, and operational excellence for its users.:

Data Encryption: Data stored and transferred within Bloom Growth’s platform is likely encrypted, both at rest and in transit, using industry-standard encryption methods (e.g., AES-256).
Access Controls: Strict access control measures, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and regular audits of user access, ensure that only authorized personnel can access sensitive information.
Retention Policies: Bloom Growth adheres to policies that limit how long personal or organizational data is stored, ensuring compliance with data minimization principles from GDPR and CCPA.
Secure Data Disposal: Procedures are in place to securely delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed or when a user requests data deletion.
