Workarounds and Partial Solutions
- Basic Text Title: Some users have found that the Basic Text Title preset works better for Arabic text compared to the Text+ preset, although it still has limitations.
- External Tools: Users often resort to using external tools like GIMP or Inkscape to create Arabic text and then import it into DaVinci Resolve as images. This is a cumbersome process and not ideal for professional workflows.
Community and Support Efforts
- Forum Discussions: The Blackmagic Design forums have active discussions about the need for Arabic language support. Users share tips and workarounds, and there are ongoing requests for the development team to address these issues in future updates.
- Feature Requests: There are feature requests for Arabic transcription and better support for RTL languages, indicating a demand from the user base for these capabilities.
