The frequency of updates is influenced by various factors, such as the development of new features, user feedback, and the identification of security vulnerabilities. While minor updates and patches may be released as needed to address specific issues promptly, major updates that introduce significant new features or substantial changes are typically rolled out periodically. This approach balances the need for innovation with the importance of system stability.
To manage these updates effectively, Zoho employs a structured deployment process. Before any update is released, it undergoes rigorous testing in controlled environments to ensure compatibility and functionality. This testing phase helps identify and resolve potential issues that could affect users, thereby minimizing disruptions. Once an update has passed all quality assurance checks, it is scheduled for deployment.
Users are typically notified of upcoming updates through various communication channels, such as email notifications, in-app messages, or announcements on the Zoho Billing website. These notifications provide details about the nature of the update, including any new features, enhancements, or critical security patches. By keeping users informed, Zoho ensures that businesses can prepare for changes and take full advantage of new functionalities.
