Visyond enforces robust security measures designed to safeguard business models, sensitive financial data, and proprietary logic during analysis and collaboration.
Granular access controls; Administrators can define permissions at the worksheet, dashboard, and data level, ensuring each user only sees and edits what they’re authorized to.
Data encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest within the cloud platform, preventing unauthorized access during transfer and storage.
Browser-based, no local installation: Because Visyond is browser-based with no client-side installation, there is reduced risk of local data exposure or compromise.
Secure sharing and collaboration: Users can securely share data, dashboards, and scenarios with internal and external stakeholders without exposing the underlying model or sensitive business logic.
Model protection and IP shielding: The platform protects proprietary formulas and modeling logic from being viewed or copied by unauthorized users, including external clients and collaborators.
Information overload management: Admins can restrict views to only necessary data points, shielding sensitive details and ensuring compliance with company privacy policies.
Visyond releases regular updates to its software, delivering new features, improvements, and security patches on a continuous basis via its cloud-based infrastructure.
Update Frequency: Updates are typically managed on a rolling schedule, with enhancements and fixes pushed automatically to the platform—users always access the latest version without manual intervention or reinstallation.
Update Management: Updates are deployed centrally in the cloud, so all users benefit from new features and improvements instantly, maintaining platform stability and security without local disruptions.
Visyond’s policy supports customer data ownership and flexible data portability, aligning with best practices for cloud financial modeling platforms.
Data ownership: Customers retain ownership of the data and models they create, upload, or manage in the Visyond platform, ensuring that proprietary calculations, business logic, and financial information remain under client control.
Data portability: Visyond allows users to export their spreadsheets, scenarios, dashboards, reports, and audit trails in standard file formats (such as Excel, CSV, and PDF), facilitating migration, backup, and integration with other systems.
Self-service export: Users can download their projects directly via the platform interface at any time, with no special permissions required for routine export, ensuring immediate access even during account transitions.
Access after cancellation: After a subscription is cancelled, users are typically able to access and export their data until the end of the paid period. Permanent deletion or hosting cessation occurs after this, unless otherwise agreed for enterprise contracts.
Visyond allows organizations to scale their subscription up or down flexibly as operational requirements evolve, following standard SaaS scalability practices and making adjustments easy through its account management portal.
Modular licensing: Organizations can add or remove users, upgrade or downgrade feature tiers, and adjust capacity based on staff or project changes at any time during the subscription period.
Online management: Scaling changes—such as seat increases, feature upgrades, or plan changes—can be performed directly via the online account dashboard, minimizing administrative effort.
Billing adjustments: Any increase in seats or features is reflected in the next billing cycle; decreases typically take effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise specified in the agreement.
No installation limits: Since Visyond is browser-based, scaling isn’t restricted by physical deployment—the platform supports rapid expansion or contraction without technical bottlenecks.
Enterprise customization: Custom and enterprise contracts may offer additional flexibility or negotiated scale-up/down provisions, often with dedicated support for onboarding or reduction.
Visyond’s contract renewal and cancellation terms align with standard SaaS practices, offering organizations flexibility in managing subscriptions and service commitments.
Subscription Model: Visyond typically operates on a subscription basis (monthly or annual), providing users with ongoing access to the platform while the subscription is active.
Renewal Process: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless explicitly cancelled by the user or organization, streamlining continuation of the service without lapses.
Cancellation Rights: Users can cancel their subscription at any time via their online account management portal or by contacting support, preventing automatic renewal for the next period.
Notice Period: There may be a required notice period prior to the renewal date for cancellations, depending on the selected plan. Users are advised to review the specific terms as listed in the service agreement.
Refund Policy
Most plans do not provide refunds for unused time after cancellation once a payment period has started; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Account Access: After cancellation, users retain access to the service until the end of the paid period, after which platform access and data hosting may cease unless otherwise specified.
Contract Management: Enterprise contracts or custom agreements may have specific renewal and cancellation clauses, which should be reviewed carefully, especially for multi-user or negotiated deployments.
Visyond meets key compliance standards relevant to cloud-based financial modeling and business intelligence platforms, particularly focusing on data security, privacy, and access control requirements for enterprise customers.
Data protection and privacy: Visyond enforces strict data encryption and granular access controls, supporting compliance with general data protection regulations such as GDPR, suitable for organizations handling sensitive client and financial data.
Secure collaboration and auditability: The platform’s detailed change tracking, audit trails, and ability to restrict model access and visibility helps organizations align with internal IT governance and external regulatory mandates for financial and operational models.
