Teamworks IRO provides specialized software solutions for Independent Review Organizations (IROs), Utilization Review, Peer Review, law firms, and insurance companies. The platform is designed to streamline workflows, handle complex reporting, and comply with state regulations, especially in areas like workers' compensation and medical peer reviews.
Teamworks IRO has been operational since at least 2014, launching its flagship Teamworks IRO software in June 2014. Over the years, the company has expanded its offerings, integrating new features to meet evolving industry standards and regulatory changes, such as handling multi-state licensing and simplifying credentialing processes.
Teamworks IRO offers a comprehensive software suite that includes:
Case Management: Tools for task tracking, case review, and automatic notifications for pending deadlines.
Flexible Reporting: Over 100 customizable reports available in multiple formats (Excel, PDF, Word, etc.).
Integrated Communication: Features like email and fax modules that operate within the system, eliminating the need for external tools.
Credentialing Support: Built-in tools to manage and track doctor licensing and credentialing, reducing reliance on third-party services.
Recent updates include a doctor portal launched in 2017, allowing secure case reviews directly through the platform. The software has also added intuitive dashboards, custom task color coding, and improved notification systems for enhanced usability.
Teamworks IRO focuses on customer efficiency and compliance, emphasizing automation and user-friendly design. Its culture appears oriented towards solving real-world problems for its niche audience, such as state compliance and data security.
The platform caters primarily to IROs, insurance companies, and legal professionals involved in medical review processes. The user base benefits from specialized tools to navigate the regulatory landscape and simplify complex reporting needs.
