Zero-Attack Surface Security: Users frequently praise the software for its ability to "cloak" devices. By eliminating open ports and public IP addresses, it makes devices invisible to bot scans and hackers.
Fast and Reliable Connectivity: Reviewers often mention that remote connections are established "incredibly fast" compared to standard VPNs. It is noted for its stability, ensuring consistent access even on challenging networks like Starlink satellite or 5G mobile (CGNAT).
Ease of IoT & Embedded Deployment: Developers and engineers give high marks for its "one-line install" on Linux and its ability to be embedded directly into small IoT devices where traditional VPN clients are too heavy to run.
No Port Forwarding Required: A major "pro" is that it works through firewalls without requiring any network configuration changes. This is cited as a massive time-saver for IT teams who no longer have to manage complex router settings at multiple remote sites.
Scalable Team Collaboration: Users like the "Sharing" feature, which allows an admin to grant specific access (e.g., only SSH or only a web portal) to a team member using just their email address, without exposing the entire network.
Complexity for Non-Technical Users: While developers love it, some reviewers mention that the initial setup and configuration can be "daunting" or "overwhelming" for those without a background in networking or command-line interfaces.
Confusing Address Readability: A common minor complaint (though improved in recent versions) is that the generated remote addresses/URLs can be difficult to read or remember, which can occasionally slow down the workflow when manually copying credentials.
Documentation Gaps: Some technical users have reported that while the core features are well-documented, specific edge-case integrations (like advanced API usage or niche protocols) could benefit from more detailed tutorials or examples.
Data Transmission Limits: A few reviews mention that certain plans have limited data transmission caps, which can be an issue for users needing to stream high-bandwidth data (like high-res video) from remote IoT cameras.
