By Part3 Technologies Corp
Part3 offers robust onboarding and ongoing support as part of its subscription, including in-app customer support and a comprehensive set of training resources for new users.
Onboarding and training resources are included for all package tiers, ensuring that new users receive guidance on platform setup, workflow optimization, and feature utilization.
Training materials are accessible in-app, which supports self-paced learning and quick answers to common questions.
In-app customer support is standard, allowing users to receive help directly from within the platform through chat or messaging with Part3's support team.
No distinction is made between standard and premium support levels on published packages—all users have access to ongoing assistance for operational, technical, and usage queries.
New clients benefit from onboarding assistance, which typically includes platform configuration, project imports, and personalized user setup guidance.
All construction administration activities, including submittals, RFIs, field reports, instructions, changes, and payment applications, are recorded in a single, tamper-proof system.
This structure ensures full traceability for every document and user action, lowering the risk of loss, unauthorized alterations, or data dispute issues.
Part3 offers real-time data visibility across teams and projects so users know who accessed, edited, or approved each document at any time.
Centralized access controls minimize the risks associated with scattered files or untracked communications, strengthening defenses against unauthorized access.
Data exchanged between Part3 and integrated platforms (Procore, Deltek, Bluebeam) is handled within secure, authenticated connections designed for enterprise interoperability.
Automated logs, spec comparisons, and error-detection tools further reinforce operational and data integrity for compliance-driven users.
Part 3 explicitly brands its solution as offering traceability, visibility, and security for liability, audit, and project disputes.
Part3 updates and releases new features on a rolling or continuous basis, typical of cloud-based platforms, ensuring users consistently access the latest workflows and tools without manual installation or downtime.
Release cycles are generally aligned with customer feedback, workflow improvements, security requirements, and integration updates, but a fixed update interval (such as weekly, monthly, or quarterly) is not specified in public materials.
All updates are automatically managed through the centralized Part3 platform, requiring no action from users.
Users receive new features, improvements, and fixes instantly via the browser interface or application—a core advantage of web-app architectures.
Part3’s policy emphasizes customer data ownership and strong data portability, allowing architecture firms to maintain control and retrieve their project data with minimal friction.
Part3 enables organizations to retain ownership of their documents and records; clients do not lose data copyright or control to Part3 or its software, as highlighted by architecture firm testimonials directly comparing it to platforms like Procore.
Firms manage their data within their own business systems, ensuring that project records, RFIs, change orders, and field reports remain their property and are not transferred to Part3 or any third party without explicit consent.
Data is centrally stored and accessible, making it straightforward for clients to export records and transfer project data when needed, either for collaboration, integration with other systems, or archival purposes.
Integrations with platforms such as Procore support data migration and cross-platform collaboration while keeping the data ownership with the originating architecture firm.
There are no public restrictions or penalties on data export or transfer, supporting best practices for portability and compliance with data protection standards expected in the sector.
Firms like VCBO Architecture cite Part3’s approach as a competitive advantage, specifically noting that they did not need to “worry about losing data ownership to third-party platforms,” and could keep CA records and project documents securely under their internal control.
Part3 allows organizations to scale their subscription up or down by changing plans through its online platform, but service upgrades or downgrades become effective according to standard contract renewal and billing cycles—there is no mention of proration or mid-term refunds for plan downgrades.
Upgrade at Any Time: Subscribers may upgrade their subscription plan (e.g., to access more features, storage, or support) by selecting a new plan through the Part3 website or by contacting the company.
Fee Adjustment: The new plan fee replaces the old fee at the start of the next billing cycle (monthly or annual, as set in the order form).
Additional Features: Upgrading often unlocks additional features, user seats, or expanded service levels. The new features become available as soon as the upgrade is processed and payment is confirmed.
Downgrade Policy: Downgrade requests (moving to a lower-tier plan) must be made via the website or by contacting Part3, and typically take effect at the end of the current invoiced subscription period.
No Mid-Term Refunds: Fees already paid for a higher tier are not refunded or prorated if the organization chooses to downgrade before the subscription term ends.
Renewal Adjustment: Downgraded plans and lower fees begin with the next renewal period; the service and feature set will change accordingly at that time.
Account Management: All changes to subscription tiers—including scaling up or down—are self-managed by the subscriber in the platform, or coordinated via the company’s support team.
Part3’s contract renewal and cancellation terms are governed by its subscription agreement, which details auto-renewal, cancellation deadlines, suspension, and the effects of termination.
Automatic Renewal: Subscription plans renew automatically for a term equal to the original subscription length unless the client sends a termination notice at least 30 days before the current term ends.
Termination Notice: To avoid automatic renewal, subscribers must email [email protected] with their intent to terminate at least thirty (30) days before the expiration of the current subscription period.
Renewal Length: Absent termination, the renewed subscription period matches the length of the original term (e.g., if the initial contract was one year, renewal is for one year).
Voluntary Cancellation: Cancellation requires written notice (via email) at least thirty days before the end of the subscription period; failure to do so results in automatic renewal.
Non-Payment: If fees are not paid within sixty (60) days, Part3 may suspend or terminate access to its platform and services.
Breach or Misuse: Part3 reserves the right to suspend or terminate services immediately for breaches of the terms, unauthorized use, or involvement in fraudulent/unlawful activities.
Government Orders: Part3 may suspend or terminate in response to government orders or legal obligations.
Notice: Immediate notice is given for suspension or termination due to breach, fraud, or non-payment.
Access Disabled: Upon termination or expiration, Part3 disables access to all services and materials associated with the subscription.
No Refund Policy: No refunds are provided for amounts already paid unless required by law.
Part3 provides centralized, tamper-proof records for all project documentation, supporting legal defensibility and audit requirements commonly found in the construction sector.
It emphasizes full traceability, visibility, and documentation integrity for submittals, RFIs, field reports, and change orders, enabling compliance with sector best practices.
The platform is built for real-time visibility and robust access controls, which are foundational to regulatory compliance in enterprise cloud environments.
Integrations with Procore, Deltek, and Bluebeam also imply conformity with data interoperability and security standards required for large-scale construction projects.
Client testimonials specifically highlight Part3’s ability to retain data ownership and control, positioning the platform as a secure, audit-ready solution for regulated documentation flows.
