Open Automation Software

Open Automation Software (OAS) is a comprehensive industrial automation and IIoT platform that enables secure, real-time data connectivity across diverse systems. Its core feature, the Universal Data Connector, allows seamless integration between PLCs, databases, cloud services, and applications using protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus. OAS offers a high-speed historian with store-and-forward capabilities to ensure zero data loss, along with visualization tools for building web and desktop HMIs, dashboards, and trend reports. It supports alarm logging and notifications, enabling proactive monitoring and event management. Developers benefit from robust SDKs and APIs (.NET and REST) for custom solutions, while cloud connectors for Azure IoT, AWS IoT, and Kafka simplify integration with enterprise analytics and machine learning pipelines. Built on a distributed, edge-ready architecture, OAS delivers scalability, security, and flexibility for modern industrial environments without vendor lock-in.
