iTouchVision is a premier global provider of cloud-based service management and contact center solutions, established with the core mission of simplifying IT service delivery for both the public and private sectors. Since its inception, the company has grown into a significant player in the field service and customer relationship management space, particularly known for its robust mobile-first architecture. iTouchVision’s platform is designed to bridge the gap between organizations and their end-users—whether they are citizens, employees, or customers—through a unified, multi-channel approach. The company operates on the principle that software should adapt to the business process, rather than forcing the business to conform to the software. This philosophy has led to the development of a suite of tools that are highly modular and customizable. Today, iTouchVision serves a global clientele, including over 78,000 municipalities and government bodies, alongside a growing number of private enterprises in healthcare, utilities, and facility management. Their infrastructure is built on private cloud technology, emphasizing high availability, elastic scalability, and world-class security. By maintaining a lean, high-performance approach, iTouchVision continues to deliver digital transformation tools that offer a high return on investment and measurable efficiency gains.
iTouchVision was founded in late 2009 by Mark Eves, who continues to serve as the CEO. The company was born out of the belief that there was a better, more straightforward way to deliver IT services by leveraging the power of open standards and the emerging potential of cloud computing. Headquartered in London, UK, the founding team focused on creating a device-independent model that could function seamlessly across the web and the rapidly evolving mobile landscape. In the early years, iTouchVision successfully targeted the public sector, recognizing a massive need for local governments to better engage with citizens through digital and mobile platforms. This early success in the UK public sector provided the foundation for their global expansion. From a small team of innovative designers and engineers, the company has expanded into a global entity with offices in multiple countries. The founding vision remains at the heart of the company: reinventing the business relationship by focusing on the quality of interaction and providing direct access to technical expertise. This founder-led approach has allowed iTouchVision to remain agile and customer-focused even as it scaled to support tens of thousands of organizations globally.
iTouchVision has historically operated as a privately held, founder-led organization. Unlike many contemporary SaaS companies that rely on frequent rounds of venture capital (VC) funding, iTouchVision has focused on sustainable growth driven by strong product performance and long-term contracts with major public sector bodies and enterprise clients. This approach has allowed the company to maintain full control over its product roadmap and strategic direction, ensuring that development is guided by customer needs rather than investor pressures. While specific Series A or B funding rounds are not publicly disclosed in traditional tech databases like Crunchbase, the company’s financial stability is evidenced by its expansive global footprint and its status as a leading supplier to thousands of government municipalities. iTouchVision often partners with regional resellers and strategic consultants to expand its market reach, which acts as a form of collaborative investment. Their presence in major government procurement frameworks, such as the UK’s G-Cloud, further underscores their institutional financial credibility. This organic growth strategy has enabled iTouchVision to build a resilient business model that prioritizes long-term stability and deep-seated customer relationships over rapid, venture-fueled expansion.
The iTouchVision suite is a comprehensive ecosystem of service management modules designed to work independently or as a unified platform. The flagship product, Service Desk, serves as a powerful ticket and task management engine for both internal and external service requests. The HR Helpdesk, a specialized module of this platform, focuses specifically on employee inquiry management, benefits tracking, and HR case lifecycles. Another core offering is MobileWorker, a native mobile application that empowers field-based employees to receive, update, and complete tasks in real-time, often featuring offline capabilities for remote areas. Their Contact Centre software provides omnichannel support, integrating voice, email, SMS, and social media into a single agent desktop. For organizations with complex data needs, iTouchVision offers Master Data Management (MDM) tools to centralize and organize business-critical information. Additionally, they provide a branded Customer Self-Service portal and a Contract Management solution to streamline third-party relationships. All these offerings are built on a common, highly configurable 'Action Engine' that allows for automated workflows, custom eForms, and real-time reporting across the entire product line. This modular approach ensures that clients can start with a single solution and expand their digital footprint as their organizational needs evolve.
Over the past decade, iTouchVision has undergone significant geographic and market expansion, evolving from a UK-centric service provider into a global technology partner. The company has established a strong presence in North America (USA and Canada), the Middle East (specifically the UAE), and the Asia-Pacific region (Australia and New Zealand). This expansion has been driven by the universal need for efficient, mobile-enabled service management in both government and enterprise sectors. To support this growth, iTouchVision has opened regional offices in major hubs including Melbourne, Australia; Malaga, Spain; and multiple locations in India (Ahmedabad and Valsad). These regional offices provide localized support, sales, and development capabilities, ensuring that the company can meet the specific regulatory and cultural requirements of different markets. For instance, in the UAE, iTouchVision’s solutions are used by municipalities to manage citizen engagements, supported by the platform’s multi-language capabilities including Arabic. The company also uses a certified reseller program to penetrate niche markets and industries globally. Their commitment to international growth is further demonstrated by their compliance with diverse data protection standards, enabling them to serve highly regulated industries across various jurisdictions.
iTouchVision maintains a continuous release cadence, typically introducing major updates every few months to enhance the platform's capabilities and user experience. Recent major releases, such as version 8.4 and beyond, have focused heavily on enhancing the Contact Centre with 'Enhanced Search' capabilities and improved agent workflows. The platform has recently seen significant upgrades to its 'V5 Portal,' which offers a more intuitive, responsive design for employee and customer self-service. New features also include 'Lone Worker' configurations within the MobileWorker app, providing enhanced safety protocols for field staff. Another key development is the integration of more advanced AI-driven automation within the 'Action Engine,' allowing for smarter ticket routing and predictive reporting. The company has also introduced 'Image Overlay' capabilities for mobile workers, enabling more precise documentation of field tasks. Enhanced multi-factor authentication (MFA) and deeper Azure Active Directory (AD) integrations have been rolled out to meet increasing enterprise security demands. These updates are designed to reduce manual intervention, improve data accuracy, and provide a more seamless interaction for end-users across all supported devices.
The culture at iTouchVision is defined by a commitment to innovation, flexibility, and a 'flat' organizational structure that encourages direct collaboration. Unlike traditional corporate environments, iTouchVision prides itself on 'reinventing the business relationship' both externally and internally. This is most evident in their support model, where they have eliminated tiered support in favor of allowing customers to interact directly with the designers and engineers who built the software. This approach fosters a culture of deep technical expertise and personal accountability among the staff. The company values 'open standards' and 'leveraging diverse technical skills,' creating an environment where technical creativity is highly prized. With a global team spread across the UK, Spain, India, and Australia, iTouchVision embraces a hybrid and remote work philosophy that leverages their own mobile and cloud technologies to stay connected. They emphasize a 'lean, high-performance approach,' where every team member is expected to contribute to the success of the client. This mission-driven culture focuses on delivering real ROI and efficiency, creating a workplace that is fast-paced and dedicated to long-term digital transformation rather than just maintaining the status quo.
iTouchVision has built a robust community around its platform, primarily through its extensive Knowledge Centre and user-focused resources. The company maintains a comprehensive online Knowledge Base that includes hundreds of articles, user manuals, and 'how-to' guides, ranging from basic portal configuration to complex API integrations. This self-help ecosystem is designed to empower administrators and users to master the platform at their own pace. iTouchVision also engages with its community through regular webinars and blog posts that highlight industry best practices, new feature announcements, and case studies from their global user base. Their presence in major government procurement frameworks has created a specialized community of public sector professionals who share insights on using iTouchVision for citizen engagement. While they do not have a traditional public forum in the style of Reddit, they offer direct support channels and dedicated account management for enterprise clients, fostering a close-knit community of practice. The company also participates in major industry events and trade shows globally, providing opportunities for face-to-face interaction and networking among its partners and customers. This focus on education and direct engagement ensures that users are always supported in maximizing the value of the software.
