Hunch is a creative performance platform that unifies data feeds, creative production, media buying, and performance insights to help marketers scale paid social with automation and AI. The platform’s value proposition is to “break the silos” between creative and media teams—design once, adapt everywhere, publish in bulk, and act on unified analytics—primarily across Meta and Snap (with references to TikTok/Google in partner content). Hunch positions itself as a Meta Business Partner with offices in New York and Belgrade, serving mid‑market and enterprise brands and agencies that need hyper‑localized, data‑driven campaigns and faster creative testing cycles.
Hunch was founded in 2017 by Sinisa (“Siggi”) Rakovic and Igor Simovic, with early operations spanning Los Angeles and Belgrade; public company pages now list hubs in New York, USA and Belgrade, Serbia. Third‑party databases corroborate the founding team (Rakovic CEO, Simovic CTO), the 2017–2018 formation window, and growth into a venture‑backed business focused on data‑driven, AI‑powered creative for social commerce. Over time Hunch has scaled to a 51–200 employee range per LinkedIn, servicing brands across Europe, the U.S., and other regions, and highlighting case studies in retail, travel, gaming, multi‑location services, and more.
Funding disclosures vary by database, but consistent signals show a Series A led by Catalyst Romania (often cited as ~$4.29M in 2022) with additional investors such as 3TS Capital Partners and Euroventures referenced across listings. Crunchbase lists multiple venture/seed entries in 2017–2022 (with some amounts obfuscated), reinforcing Hunch’s status as a venture‑backed company; Tracxn attributes $4.29M Series A (June 1, 2022) and notes Belgrade headquarters and advertising automation focus. No credible public sources provide a current valuation figure; as such, the valuation should be considered undisclosed. (For diligence, request direct confirmation via Hunch or investor relations.)
Hunch’s product spans three pillars—Creative, Media, and Insights—implemented through a single workflow:
Independent reviews and comparisons place Hunch closer to Smartly.io in breadth (creative + media automation), differentiating it from single‑purpose DPA overlay tools; users praise feature depth and support, while noting a learning curve reflective of its full‑stack scope.
No publicly verifiable acquisitions by Hunch (hunchads.com) are disclosed in mainstream databases at the time of writing. Expansion has focused on product breadth (creative automation, enriched catalogs, campaign autopilot), platform alignment with Meta/Snap, and service model enhancements for onboarding and optimization. (Note: There are unrelated companies/tools named “Hunch” in AI/workspace or social apps; this analysis pertains to Hunch Insights Inc. / hunchads.com.)
Hunch continues to ship updates that enable localization at scale. In September 2025, the “Localization package” introduced location‑ready templates, location asset customization, and automatic map locations for dynamic creatives—addressing campaign limits and enabling variable creatives for many locations within a single ad object (reducing ad count while increasing personalization). The company’s resource pages emphasize language localization—upload translations once and generate variants across markets and placements—further supporting Arabic and other languages for GCC and global deployment.
Hunch’s culture messaging stresses customer success as the north star, “grit without ego,” and a diverse, cross‑functional team of engineers, designers, and marketers focused on practical outcomes for media teams. The About Us page highlights billions of automated creatives launched, marquee brand collaborations, and a coaching/partner stance when conversions stall or goals tighten—framing Hunch as both platform and strategic partner. Employee testimonials reflect a hands‑on, growth‑oriented environment and pride in product quality and support.
Hunch’s stated customer base spans mid‑market and enterprise brands and agencies, with case studies covering retail/ecommerce (Beliani, Carrefour), travel/airlines (Air Serbia, Porter Airlines), multi‑location venues (Greene King pubs), telecom, and others—reporting CPA reductions, conversion lifts, and hours saved through automation and creative refreshes. On LinkedIn, Hunch lists 51–200 employees and a New York HQ; success stories and blog content are actively published, supplemented by a newsletter and help center documentation—indicating a growing practitioner community focused on practical paid social tactics and data‑driven creative.
