eeCentral
By Employee Based Systems LLC (EBS)
Powerful All-in-One Integration: Many users appreciate that eeCentral acts as a "single source of truth." Having payroll, tax management, and HR records in one place reduces the need for multiple data entries and minimizes clerical errors.
Excellent Reporting & Dashboards: The reporting tool is frequently highlighted as a major strength. Once set up, the real-time analytics allow managers to pull critical data instantly without needing help from IT.
Highly Responsive Support: A consistent theme is the quality of the technical support team. Users often describe the staff as "quick to respond," "patient," and "knowledgeable," particularly during the initial data migration from old systems.
Empowering Self-Service: The employee self-service portal is praised for cutting down on HR admin time. Reviewers note that having employees fill out their own onboarding forms and check their own payslips significantly increases department efficiency.
Reliable Compliance Tracking: The software’s connection with tools like Aatrix for tax updates is highly valued. Users find it easy to stay compliant even when tax codes and labor laws change.
Initial Learning Curve for Reports: While the reporting is powerful, some users noted that the tool was "hard to use at first" because of the sheer volume of data. It can take time for new users to learn how to filter and build custom reports effectively.
Customization Limitations: A few reviewers have mentioned that while the platform is generally flexible, it can be "hard to customize" for extremely unique or unconventional business workflows, sometimes feeling like it follows a set structure too strictly.
System Slowdowns: Some feedback from larger organizations (500+ employees) indicates that the system may experience occasional performance lags or slowdowns when processing very large payroll volumes or complex data exports.
