CreateStudio is a dynamic video animation platform known for its rapid innovation, intuitive design, and focus on empowering both creative beginners and professional marketers to create high-impact videos, explainer animations, and branded content.
CreateStudio is a feature-rich animation and video editing software for Mac and Windows, celebrated for its drag-and-drop interface, customizable 2D/3D character builder, AI-powered automations, and massive library of templates and stock assets. It supports everything from short-form social ads to complex explainer videos, doodle animations, and business tutorials, combining speed, versatility, and professional polish in a single toolset.
CreateStudio was launched by Vidello Ltd. (originally a private UK company) in the late 2010s, quickly growing thanks to strong word-of-mouth, a competitive one-time lifetime license offering, and a focus on continuous feature expansion. The founding team positioned the platform as a creator-friendly solution bridging the gap between simplicity and motion design sophistication.
CreateStudio was acquired by Banzai International (NASDAQ: BNZI), a US-based marketing technology firm, in a deal valued at around $2.7 million in cash and equity, as part of Banzai’s strategy to strengthen its video-centric marketing stack. Vidello, the original owner, generated around $4.3 million in annual revenue, while Banzai itself is a public company with larger capitalization and product synergies.
