Cirrus8 is designed as a flexible, cloud-based commercial property management platform that supports organizations as their needs change. Here’s how the platform accommodates scaling up or down:
Per-User Subscription: Cirrus8 operates on a subscription basis, charging per user rather than per property or lease. This model allows organizations to easily add or remove users as their team size changes, making it cost-effective for both small and large portfolios.
Adding Users: New user licenses can be purchased at any time, with a minimum of one calendar month charge for each new license. Additional licenses attract the full monthly fee for the month in which they are added.
Removing Users: User licenses can be revoked by providing seven days' written notice to Cirrus8, subject to maintaining the minimum number of licenses agreed upon in your contract. Once a license is revoked, a new license for that individual cannot be issued for at least two months, preventing frequent reassignment for temporary absences.
Cloud-Based and Modular: As a cloud-based solution, Cirrus8 does not require hardware changes or local installations when scaling up or down. Organizations can adjust their usage online, activating or deactivating modules and features as needed to match their current portfolio size and operational requirements.
No Pro-Rata Billing: The billing period is monthly, and there is no pro-rata billing for partial months. All changes to user licenses or features take effect for the full billing month in which they are made.
Month-to-Month Commitment: Cirrus8’s terms are based on monthly billing cycles. At the end of each billing period, the contract automatically renews for another month unless either party gives at least 30 days’ notice before the end of the current period.
Termination: If you wish to scale down significantly or exit the platform, you must provide 30 days’ notice. You are liable for all access fees for the current and following month in which the notice period falls. Upon termination, access to the platform ends, and it is your responsibility to extract any required data before your subscription expires.
Role-Based Access: Administrators can control user roles and permissions, ensuring that as your organization scales, only authorized users have access to relevant data and functions.
Automatic Renewal: Cirrus8 operates on a monthly subscription model. At the end of each billing period, the contract automatically renews for another period of the same duration, provided you continue to pay the prescribed Access Fee on time.
No Pro-Rata Billing: The billing period is by calendar month, and there is no pro-rata billing for partial months. The first billing period starts when the database is created and configuration begins.
Notice for Non-Renewal: Either party may terminate the agreement by giving at least thirty (30) days’ notice before the end of the relevant billing period. If you terminate, you are liable for all Access Fees for the current month in which notice is given and for the following month in which the 30-day notice period expires.
Payment Method: Payment is typically made by direct debit. Failure to register for direct debit incurs an administration fee. Overdue invoices attract interest charges.
User-Initiated Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription by providing at least 30 days’ written notice before the end of the current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period after the notice expires.
No Refunds for Prepaid Periods: Cirrus8 does not provide refunds for any remaining prepaid period for a prepaid Access Fee subscription.
Immediate Access Loss: When the subscription period ends through termination, you permanently lose access to your data. Cirrus8 will take steps to delete your data, so it is essential to extract all required data before termination.
Termination for Breach: Cirrus8 may terminate or suspend your access if you breach the terms (e.g., non-payment) and do not remedy the breach within 14 days of notice, or immediately if the breach is not capable of being remedied or if payment is more than 30 days overdue.
Insolvency or Liquidation: Cirrus8 may terminate the agreement if you or your business becomes insolvent, goes into liquidation, or has a receiver or manager appointed.
Data Retention: As long as you have a paid-up subscription, Cirrus8 will house, back up, and maintain your data. Upon termination, access is lost and data is deleted. You must extract all necessary data before the end of your subscription.
