Initial Consultation & Needs Assessment
The process begins with a discussion between the manufacturer and the ACCEPT OEE team to understand production goals, current challenges, and integration requirements. This ensures the system is tailored to the specific factory environment and objectives.
System Design & Integration Planning
The ACCEPT OEE team collaborates with the client to plan how automation signals, counters, and statuses will be collected from machines and equipment. This includes mapping out data points and ensuring compatibility with existing hardware and software.
Software Installation & Configuration
ACCEPT OEE is installed on-site or in the cloud, depending on the client’s preference. The system is configured to calculate OEE by line, section, or factory, and dashboards are customized to display relevant KPIs for different user roles.
Data Connection & Validation
The platform is connected to automation equipment and industrial consoles. Data flows are validated to ensure real-time, accurate collection of production statuses, stops, and waste. Any issues with signal quality or data capture are addressed at this stage.
User Training & Onboarding
Operators, supervisors, and managers receive training on how to use the system, including data entry, dashboard navigation, and analysis tools. This step ensures all users can leverage ACCEPT OEE effectively and minimizes registration errors.
Go-Live & Support
After successful validation and training, the system goes live. Ongoing support is provided to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and answer user questions as production teams begin daily use.

ACCEPT OEE is designed to ensure the security and integrity of production and operational data collected from manufacturing environments. While the platform’s primary focus is on real-time OEE monitoring and analytics, it incorporates several security practices in line with industry standards for manufacturing software.
Secure Data Collection:
ACCEPT OEE collects automation signals and production data directly from machines and equipment, minimizing manual intervention and reducing the risk of data tampering or entry errors. This direct integration supports both data accuracy and security.
Role-Based Access Control:
The platform allows for the configuration of user roles and permissions, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access, modify, or analyze sensitive production data. This minimizes the risk of unauthorized access and data breaches.
Data Integrity and Error Prevention:
The use of industrial consoles for operator tasks at the production line ensures robust, error-free digital registration of OEE inputs. This approach reduces the potential for manual errors and helps maintain the integrity of recorded data.
Customizable Access and Dashboards:
ACCEPT OEE supports role-based dashboards and views, allowing information to be tailored and restricted according to user responsibilities. This ensures that sensitive data is only visible to those with the appropriate clearance.
Secure Integration with Other Systems:
The platform is designed to integrate with MES, ERP, SCADA, PLCs, IoT devices, and other business systems. Secure APIs and connectors are typically employed for these integrations, helping protect data as it moves between systems.
Compliance with Data Protection Regulations:
ACCEPT OEE is built to support compliance with data protection regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe. This includes safeguarding personal and operational data, and ensuring that data processing aligns with legal requirements.
Data Retention and Portability:
Upon contract termination or customer request, data can be exported or deleted by data ownership and portability policies, ensuring that organizations retain control over their information and comply with legal obligations.
ACCEPT OEE is designed to support manufacturers in monitoring and optimizing production line performance, and it adheres to established best practices regarding data ownership in industrial software. In line with industry norms and data protection regulations, the data collected and stored by ACCEPT OEE—including production signals, statuses, counters, and operational analytics—remains the property of the customer (the manufacturing organization). The platform itself acts as a custodian, managing and processing data on behalf of the customer without claiming ownership over the information. This approach ensures that all proprietary production data, operational metrics, and sensitive business information are controlled by the organization using the software, not by the software provider.
Upon termination of the service or at the customer’s request, ACCEPT OEE’s policy is to provide a copy of all relevant data to the customer and, if required, to securely delete or destroy any retained data, except where retention is mandated by law. This ensures that organizations retain control over their information and can comply with both internal policies and external legal requirements.
Automatic Renewal: ACCEPT OEE contracts are commonly structured with automatic renewal clauses. This means that, unless either party provides written notice of non-renewal within a specified period (often 30–90 days before the contract’s expiration), the agreement will automatically renew for an additional term. The renewal period and notice requirements are typically outlined in the original contract documentation.
Negotiation Window: Before renewal, both parties have the opportunity to review and renegotiate terms, including pricing, features, and service levels, to reflect any changes in business needs or operational requirements. This process allows for updates to the agreement in response to evolving circumstances.
Fee Adjustments: Renewal fees may be subject to adjustment, with any changes communicated in advance. Adjustments are often based on prior agreement or standard rate increases, and can be negotiated during the renewal process.
Updated Terms: Upon renewal, ACCEPT OEE may update the terms and conditions or service documentation. Customers are generally required to accept these updated terms to continue using the service.
Termination for Convenience: Either party may terminate the contract for convenience by providing written notice within the period specified in the agreement (commonly 30–90 days before the end of the current term). Any fees for services rendered up to the date of termination remain payable.
Termination for Cause: The contract may be terminated by either party in the event of a material breach, such as non-payment or failure to perform contractual obligations. The breaching party is usually given a cure period (often 10 days) to remedy the issue before termination becomes effective.
Effects of Termination: Upon termination, access to ACCEPT OEE is revoked. The provider is obligated to return or securely delete all customer data, except where retention is required by law. Customers can request data export before deletion to ensure data portability.
Refunds: If termination occurs due to ACCEPT OEE’s uncured material breach, the customer may be eligible for a refund of prepaid fees for the unused portion of the subscription. If the customer terminates for their own breach, unpaid fees for the remainder of the term may still be due.
