Data Ownership
Tradeshift's data policy clearly states that customers own all the data they submit to Tradeshift, whether it is transactional data, personal data, or any other type of data. This ownership is recognized and acknowledged by Tradeshift, ensuring that customers retain full rights over their data.Each transaction involves two parties (buyer and seller), and both have an ownership interest in the transaction data.
Data Portability
Tradeshift supports data portability, allowing customers to transfer their data to other platforms if needed. The platform's data processing agreement (DPA) outlines the procedures for handling and transferring data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR.Tradeshift's commitment to data portability is part of its broader data protection and privacy policies, which include mechanisms for data access, sharing, and transfer in a secure and compliant manner.

Contract Renewal
Automatic Renewal: Tradeshift's subscription services typically renew automatically at the end of each subscription period unless terminated by either party. The renewal terms are specified in the initial agreement and are subject to the same terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed upon.
Notice for Fee Increase: Tradeshift reserves the right to increase subscription fees upon 30 days' prior notice to the customer. This notice period allows customers to review and decide whether to continue with the service under the new pricing.
Non-Cancellation Clause: The agreement will commence upon the effective date and continue for the initial term specified in the agreement. It cannot be canceled during this initial term, ensuring that both parties are committed for the agreed duration.
Contract Cancellation
Customer-Initiated Cancellation: The account owner can cancel the account at any time on the Tradeshift site. Upon cancellation, all licenses granted under the terms of service will immediately terminate, and Tradeshift may destroy or otherwise dispose of any customer data in its possession.
Tradeshift-Initiated Termination: Tradeshift may terminate or suspend the use of the site at any time, for any reason. This includes breaches of the terms of service or any other agreement with Tradeshift.
Data Handling Post-Termination: Upon termination, Tradeshift will delete all customer data from the account unless otherwise agreed for a specific feature or program. Customers can request the most recent backup of their data within 10 business days of termination, subject to compliance with the terms of service and payment of any associated costs.
Force Majeure: Tradeshift is excused from performance under the terms of service to the extent it is prevented or delayed by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, acts of war, or major software failures.
ISO 27001: Tradeshift's information security management system is certified to the ISO 27001 standard, ensuring robust data security practices.
SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II: These certifications demonstrate that Tradeshift has effective controls in place for financial reporting and data security, respectively.
ISAE 3402 Type II: This standard ensures that Tradeshift's service organization controls are properly designed and operating effectively.
PCI-DSS Level 1: Tradeshift complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, ensuring secure handling of credit card information.
GDPR Compliance: Tradeshift adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for processing personal data of individuals within the European Union.
