Data Ownership: StreamBIM ensures that the data generated and managed within its platform remains under the ownership of the user. This means that users retain control over their BIM data and any associated information they input into the system.
Data Portability: StreamBIM supports data portability, which allows users to easily export their data in a usable format. This feature is crucial for users who wish to transfer their data between different systems or services, ensuring that their data remains accessible and reusable without being locked into a single platform.
Fixed Monthly Pricing: StreamBIM offers fixed monthly pricing plans, which suggests some level of predictability and stability in costs, regardless of project size or complexity. This could potentially accommodate scaling up without significant changes in cost structure per user or project.
Unlimited Users: StreamBIM allows access to an unlimited number of users per project without additional costs. This feature is particularly beneficial for scaling up, as it enables organizations to add more users to the platform without incurring extra fees.
No Startup Costs: The absence of startup costs with StreamBIM also supports scalability. Organizations can initiate new projects or expand existing ones without the burden of initial financial outlays, making it easier to scale operations.
Contract Renewal
Renewal Process: The agreement between the account owner and Rendra AS (the company behind StreamBIM) takes effect from the date the account owner confirms the order form or the offering letter. This suggests that the renewal process would likely follow a similar procedure, requiring confirmation through an order form or offering letter for renewal.
Term Definition: The term of the contract is defined in the applicable order. If no term is specified in the order, the term shall have the meaning as defined in Section 12 (Term and Termination) of the terms and conditions. This indicates that the renewal term would be specified in the new order or agreement at the time of renewal.
Contract Cancellation
Cancellation by Account Owner: The account owner may cancel the account and terminate the agreement at any time by written notice to Rendra AS. This provides flexibility for the account owner to discontinue the service as needed.
Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, any pre-paid subscription fee will be reimbursed if the cancellation is due to changes such as the introduction of a new subcontractor that the account owner does not agree with. Additionally, data created and stored by usage of the application service will be exported and handed over to the account owner, ensuring data portability and ownership rights are maintained.
Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Compliance: FusionWorks software is compatible with devices that enforce FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing. This compliance is crucial for ensuring that data is securely processed and transmitted within the software
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance: While not explicitly mentioned in the context of FusionWorks, the general emphasis on regulatory compliance in their offerings suggests adherence to GDPR standards, especially considering the global nature of their services. GDPR compliance is essential for protecting the personal data of individuals within the European Union and ensuring that data is processed lawfully and transparently
