Many vendors explicitly state that data processed remains the property of the user, ensuring data sovereignty.

The tool allows users to export OST data into PST or other formats, facilitating easy data portability.

The output files (e.g., PST) can be migrated and imported into other systems or applications, supporting flexible data management.

Data processed locally usually remains on the user's premises, preserving control and portability.

Vendors often include confidentiality clauses ensuring that user data is not shared, sold, or exposed to third parties.
