Implementing N-able Mail Assure involves several key steps to ensure seamless integration and optimal email security. The process begins with verifying that all necessary information and access permissions are in place, as outlined in the Getting Started Requirements. Next, administrators log into the Mail Assure control panel to familiarize themselves with its features and configure branding preferences if desired. Domains are then added individually or via Microsoft 365 sync, followed by configuring firewall settings to accept Mail Assure IP addresses. Administrators set up mailbox configurations, add mailboxes and aliases, and adjust domain-specific settings, including email notifications and time zones. For incoming filtering, updating MX records is essential, while outgoing filtering requires creating outgoing users, configuring SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, and setting appropriate SMTP hostnames. If archiving is needed, enabling the feature and managing archive settings are necessary steps. The duration of this implementation process varies based on organizational complexity and specific requirements, but with proper planning, it can be completed efficiently.
