Improved Member Engagement: iMIS enables personalized member experiences, including members-only content, automated renewals, and targeted communications, which have helped increase retention and engagement.

Strong Support and Training Resources: The online help, video tutorials, and support documentation are considered excellent. Some organizations have even incorporated these into their internal training programs.

Comprehensive Feature Set: Reviewers appreciate the wide range of built-in tools, including membership management, event registration, reporting, and website integration via RiSE. It reduces the need for multiple platforms.

Highly Customizable: Users consistently praise iMIS for its flexibility and ability to be tailored to specific organizational needs. Many mention that once the system is understood, it can handle nearly any business rule or workflow.

Outdated UI Elements: While the RiSE CMS is praised, some users feel that parts of the interface are outdated or not intuitive, especially for light users.

Slow Page Load Times: Compared to other SaaS platforms, iMIS is reported to have slower page loading speeds, which can hinder productivity.

Limited Mobile Access: A common complaint is the lack of a dedicated mobile app, which affects accessibility for staff and members on the go.

High Cost: Licensing fees, customization, and consulting services are frequently cited as expensive. Some users feel the total cost of ownership is higher than expected, especially for smaller organizations.

Steep Learning Curve: New users often find iMIS overwhelming and difficult to navigate. Several reviews mention that it takes months or even years to become proficient, and that staff may avoid using it due to complexity.
