Privacy Compliance: EventCreate adheres to international privacy standards, including compliance with data privacy frameworks for the EU, UK, and Switzerland.

Data Ownership and Portability
Data Ownership: EventCreate’s policy makes it clear that event organizers (referred to as Event Creators) retain ownership and control over the data they collect from attendees. Organizers are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from their guests and for providing appropriate privacy notices. This means you, as the organizer, determine how attendee data is used and are responsible for managing that data. EventCreate acts as a service provider, processing data on your behalf but not claiming ownership of it.
Data Portability: EventCreate supports data portability. Organizers and users can request their personal data in a portable format, allowing them to transfer information to another system or service if needed. Users also have the right to request access, corrections, deletion, or transfer of their personal data. EventCreate commits to responding to these requests within a reasonable timeframe, in line with international privacy and data protection standards.
Scaling Up / Down
Scaling Up: EventCreate is designed to be flexible and scalable. If your organizational needs grow—such as hosting larger events or requiring more advanced features—you can upgrade your subscription plan at any time. Upgrades provide immediate access to higher attendee limits, additional features, and advanced tools. This can be done easily through your EventCreate account dashboard.
Scaling Down: If your needs decrease, you can downgrade your plan or cancel your subscription at any time. Downgrading will adjust your access to features according to the new plan level, and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. The process is straightforward and managed through your account settings.
The terms & conditions for contract renewal and cancellation
Contract Renewal:
EventCreate subscriptions are typically billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected at sign-up.
Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period as the original term (monthly or annually) unless canceled by either the user or EventCreate.
EventCreate is authorized to charge your payment method in advance for each renewal term.
If there is a change in subscription fees, EventCreate will provide at least 30 days’ notice via email before the new fee is charged.
The subscription term continues to renew indefinitely until canceled by either party.
Cancellation:
Both the user (Event Creator) and EventCreate can cancel a subscription at any time for any reason, except where a promotional offer states otherwise.
Upon cancellation, all fees due up to the end of the current billing cycle remain payable.
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless specifically stated in a promotional offer.
After cancellation, access to EventCreate continues until the end of the current billing period.
Users can cancel their subscription through various methods provided by EventCreate.
EventCreate reserves the right to immediately terminate a subscription if a user violates the terms of service, with all fees due up to the end of the billing cycle remaining payable. No refunds are provided in this case.
Termination for violation of terms does not limit EventCreate’s right to pursue further legal action or claims.
Compliance
Privacy and Data Protection:
EventCreate complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. These frameworks ensure that personal data transferred from Europe, the UK, and Switzerland to the United States is protected according to strict privacy principles.
EventCreate also adheres to requirements under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), providing users with rights such as access, correction, deletion, and portability of their personal data.
The platform maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including the use of standard contractual clauses where required.
Security and Payment Processing:
EventCreate is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, ensuring secure processing of credit card and payment data.
Data is protected with industry-standard encryption, including 256-bit SSL encryption during transmission.
EventCreate follows regular security audits and maintains robust access controls and privacy settings.
Additional Compliance Considerations:
EventCreate’s privacy and security practices are designed to meet or exceed the requirements of major international privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant regulations.
The company supports user rights to lodge complaints with supervisory authorities in the EEA and other jurisdictions if privacy concerns are not resolved directly.
