Anonymity: User requests are sent through a reverse proxy to hide the user's IP address, so the question cannot be linked back to the user.
No Data Training: Brave explicitly states that user chats are not stored or used to train the AI models.
No Account Required: Users can access the free version of Leo immediately without needing to create an account or log in, further preserving anonymity.
Browser Integration: Leo is built directly into the Brave browser sidebar, making it easily accessible and a natural extension of the browsing experience.
Inconsistent Performance and Accuracy: The most common functional complaint is the AI's tendency to be factually incorrect or "hallucinate" (making up information), which makes it unsuitable for important tasks.
Context Loss: In longer or more complex conversations, some users find that Leo tends to lose track of the context or provide follow-up answers that are irrelevant.
Outdated Knowledge/No Live Internet Access: The AI's knowledge base may not be current, and it sometimes struggles to pull in live or up-to-the-minute information, limiting its usefulness for real-time topics.
