Animaker
By Animaker Inc
Ease of Use: Consistently praised for having an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface that makes video and animation creation accessible to beginners and non-animators. Users find it simple to start producing content quickly.
Rich Asset Library: Offers a world-class and staggering resource depth, including 100M+ stock assets, 70K+ icons, royalty-free music, and integration with services like Getty Images and Giphy.
Character Builder & Customization: Highly rated for its revolutionary character builder, which allows customization of outfits, expressions (20+), and colors, enabling the creation of unique and brand-consistent characters.
Automation and Smart Tools: Features like Auto Lip-Sync (characters' lips move perfectly with uploaded audio) and Smart Move (creating complex movement paths with one click) are viewed as huge time-savers that reduce the learning curve.
Versatility: Supports creating various video types, including 2D animated, whiteboard, infographic, vertical videos, and GIFs, making it a versatile tool for social media and explainer videos.
Performance and Stability: This is the most frequent major complaint. Users report frequent lagging, slow performance, and freezing during editing, especially as projects get longer or more complex. The platform is entirely internet-dependent, meaning poor connection equals a poor experience.
Export and Rendering Issues: Reviewers mention slow rendering times and occasional glitches or bugs in the final exported video, which is frustrating after putting in effort to fine-tune animations.
