Amplify Strategy Execution
By Amplify-Now
Amplify Strategy Execution typical implementation process:
Initial discovery and requirements gathering: Teams work with Amplify experts to clarify objectives, map out strategic priorities, and define requirements for portfolio structure and reporting needs.
Platform configuration and customization: The Amplify environment is configured to match the organization’s unique workflows, initiative types, value frameworks, and approval processes. Custom fields, templates, and dashboards are set up as needed.
Data migration and integration setup: Historical project, portfolio, and value data are migrated to Amplify. Integrations with tools such as Power BI, Excel, Jira, SAP, or Salesforce are established for seamless data synchronization.
User training and onboarding: Stakeholders receive tailored training—through online modules or instructor-led sessions—covering initiative creation, reporting, value tracking, and collaborative workflows.
Pilot launch and validation: A core user group conducts a soft launch to validate configuration, ensure adoption, and troubleshoot edge cases before a full-scale rollout.
Amplify Strategy Execution is highly configurable across data models, workflows, value frameworks, and integrations, allowing teams to tailor the platform to unique transformation programs and governance models.
Custom fields at global, program, project, and object levels let admins capture organization-specific attributes; field types include text, selectable lists, links, traffic-light status, and cascading fields, with options to make fields required and bulk-add choices.
Configurable classifications and hierarchies align portfolios, programs, workstreams, and initiatives to your organizational structure and reporting layers for clear rollups and drill‑downs.
Template library supports multiple project/initiative templates with different governance paths, data requirements, and KPIs; customers note rapid configuration of templates for varied project types across competencies.
Value frameworks are customizable to define benefit types, measures, currency, phasing, and ownership; “Fast‑load benefits” supports bulk import of benefit definitions and actuals via Excel with column mapping and validation.
Workflow configuration enables gated governance, approvals, and stage-based progress with role-based responsibilities and notifications matching internal PMO standards.
Dashboards and reporting are configurable, including custom Power BI embeds and real-time analytics tailored to executive, finance, and delivery audiences.
Risk, issue, and dependency models are configurable with custom fields, categorizations, and visualizations to reflect enterprise RAID taxonomies and cross-program impacts.
Scenario modeling supports custom constraints and trade-off analysis to optimize portfolios against strategic goals and resource limits.
Integration options include APIs and connectors to tools such as Power BI, Jira, Excel, SAP, and Salesforce, enabling bi‑directional data flows and unified reporting.
New users receive structured onboarding, role‑based training, and ongoing support delivered via a customer success model, an online help center, and direct support channels.
Onboarding and setup: Implementation is guided by Amplify’s customer success team, with discovery, configuration, and data setup, followed by a pilot and phased rollout. The “Our Solution” materials emphasize rapid time‑to‑value and enterprise‑scale adoption support.
Role-based enablement: Administrators get user and permissions setup guidance, including provisioning and role design, supported by step‑by‑step help articles like Manage Users in the Amplify help portal.
Training formats: Instructor‑led sessions and self‑serve learning are available, with product tours, use‑case training for value tracking and portfolio governance, and best practices for stage‑gates, benefits, and reporting, as described in product overview resources.
Help Center: A searchable knowledge base provides how‑tos, configuration guides, and troubleshooting for day‑to‑day operations, user management, and benefit loading/imports.
Amplify Strategy Execution implements a robust array of security measures to protect customer data throughout its platform. The system uses enterprise-grade encryption for all data, ensuring that information is secure both in transit (via SSL/TLS for communications) and at rest on its servers. Access to sensitive data is strictly controlled through role-based user permissions, so only authorized users can view or modify key information. Amplify is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with continuous monitoring and regular security updates, minimizing risks from external threats and vulnerabilities.
The platform also restricts internal employee access to customer data, enforcing a strict least-privilege model and requiring confidentiality agreements for all subcontractors and staff involved in service delivery. Regular data backups, audit trails, and secure authentication processes further enhance operational security and resilience. Amplify’s privacy policy and data protection documentation commit to maintaining high standards for compliance, data privacy, incident response, and regulatory alignment, providing transparency and peace of mind for its enterprise clients.
Amplify Strategy Execution ships on a frequent, versioned release cadence with public release notes for each drop, typically monthly, and occasionally more often when feature payloads are larger.
Frequency: The vendor maintains a rolling cadence identified by year.version tags (e.g., 24.2, 24.8, 25.8–25.10), indicating regular monthly updates with interim patches as needed.
Communication: Every release is documented in the Help Center’s Release Notes section, outlining new features, enhancements, and fixes, with scheduled go-live dates announced in advance.
Deployment: Updates are cloud-delivered and applied to the SaaS environment without customer-managed patching; customers see new capabilities in-app alongside updated knowledge-base guidance and admin notes.
Amplify Strategy Execution maintains a customer-friendly policy on data ownership and portability, emphasizing that customer data remains the property of the customer.
Data Ownership: Amplify operates on the principle that customer data belongs to the customer. Organizations retain full ownership of all data—including strategic plans, portfolio information, value realization data, and user-entered content—uploaded to or created within the platform. Amplify acts as a custodian and service provider, not as an owner of client data.
Data Portability: Customers have the ability to export their data from the platform for backup, migration, or transition purposes. Amplify supports bulk data export features such as Fast-Load Benefits for importing and exporting benefit definitions and actuals via Excel, ensuring clients can move data in and out of the system without vendor lock-in. Data export capabilities are designed to give organizations flexibility and control, enabling them to retrieve structured datasets for use with other tools or analysis platforms.
Data Usage and Sharing: Amplify uses customer data solely to provide its services, support customers, and improve platform performance. Aggregated, anonymized data may be analyzed across the platform to enhance system effectiveness, but individual customer data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties without explicit consent or legal requirement. Service providers who support Amplify's operations are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Amplify Strategy Execution adheres to enterprise-grade compliance and security standards, though explicit certifications (such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001) for Amplify-Now Inc's specific platform are not publicly detailed in their documentation. However, the platform implements a comprehensive set of security and privacy practices designed to meet regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
Data Protection and Privacy: Amplify follows strict data protection protocols, including SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, secure cloud hosting, 24/7 infrastructure monitoring, and role-based access controls. The privacy policy demonstrates alignment with GDPR principles, including lawful data processing, user rights to access and deletion, data minimization, and transparent communication about data handling practices.
Security Practices: The platform restricts employee access to customer data, imposes confidentiality obligations on staff and subcontractors, and uses secure authentication measures. Regular backups, audit trails, and secure data transmission protocols further protect organizational information. These controls align with frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and other information security best practices commonly associated with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.
Cloud Infrastructure: By leveraging enterprise-grade cloud providers with global security standards, Amplify benefits from the compliance certifications held by its infrastructure partners (such as AWS compliance programs covering SOC, ISO, PCI, HIPAA, and others), ensuring that the underlying platform meets stringent security and availability requirements.
