AestheticsPro is a U.S.-based cloud software company specializing in HIPAA-compliant medical spa management solutions that integrate clinical, administrative, and marketing operations. Its all-in-one SaaS platform combines electronic health records (EHR/EMR), appointment scheduling, payment processing, CRM, telemedicine, photo management, and performance analytics—covering every functional layer of a medspa or aesthetic healthcare practice. The company’s mission is to “empower the aesthetics industry with a secure, innovative software platform that simplifies workflows and enhances care quality.” It serves as a key digital backbone for medical spas, cosmetic dermatology practices, and plastic surgery clinics looking for compliance-centered scalability.
AestheticsPro was founded in 2007 in Lacey, Washington by Graham and Lora Budd. Initially operating under the name Inet Portals, the company developed early software frameworks for cosmetic and laser clinics. Recognizing a widespread need for a unified business management system, the Budds launched AestheticsPro Online, making it one of the first dedicated cloud-based EMR and business management tools for the aesthetics industry. Over the past decade and a half, the platform evolved from a simple booking and invoicing tool into a full-scale SaaS ecosystem with more than 30% of the North American medspa market share. The company’s steady growth has been driven by continuous user feedback, HIPAA-compliant data infrastructure, and long-term partnerships with medical professionals.
The flagship platform, AestheticsPro Enterprise Cloud, streamlines medspa operations by uniting seven essential modules:
EMR and Documentation: Secure client charting with customizable forms, integrated e‑signature, before‑and‑after image management, and AP Focus—a proprietary medical photography engine with AI-assisted alignment and markup tools.
Scheduling and Booking: Drag‑and‑drop appointment management, resource allocation by provider or room, and automated confirmations, reducing no‑shows.
Telemedicine and E‑Prescribing: Secure video consultations and digital prescription transmission, meeting state-mandated electronic prescribing laws.
CRM and Marketing: Segmented email/SMS campaigns, reputation management, loyalty programs, and lead tracking for enhanced patient retention.
Point of Sale and Payments: PCI‑compliant billing, membership packages, prepaid services, and automatic sales tracking linked to inventory.
Analytics and Reporting: Multi-location dashboards that visualize financial KPIs, staff performance, and revenue projections.
Recent releases emphasize automation, mobility, and AI enhancements. The AP Focus Imaging Suite now applies AI-assisted photo alignment and treatment zone tagging. Additionally, AI‑powered analytics dashboards help clinics identify profitability trends and automate data interpretation for management reporting. Expanded telemedicine functionalities, integrated loyalty systems, and cross‑platform design improvements on mobile applications have further optimized usability across devices
AestheticsPro’s internal culture champions collaboration, innovation, and employee empowerment. As of 2025, it maintains a workforce of roughly 30–50 employees, balancing hybrid (remote and on‑site) work models. The company emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, knowledge sharing, and mentorship, backed by annual retreats and monthly “all-call” meetings. It promotes diversity and professional growth while maintaining a family atmosphere reflective of its founders’ philosophy. Employees describe AestheticsPro as a place “where productivity and fun coexist,” reinforcing loyalty and shared accountability across departments.
AestheticsPro supports more than 10,000 medspa professionals and approximately 25,000 active system users across the U.S. and Canada. Clients include single-provider boutique clinics, multi-location wellness franchises, and medical practices expanding into aesthetic medicine. Its Success Community and AestheticsPro Learning Center create an active hub for peer exchange and continuing education.
