Coventus (formerly Eleviant Tech) is a premier AI solutions provider headquartered in Richardson, Texas, with over two decades of experience in delivering technology-driven business transformations. The company rebranded to Coventus in August 2025 to reflect its evolved focus on secure, intelligent automation for highly regulated industries such as insurance, finance, and healthcare. The name 'Coventus' signifies a sanctuary of trust ('Cove'), a commitment to innovation ('Invent'), and a collaborative partnership ('Us'). With a global team of over 200 experts, Coventus specializes in bridging the gap between legacy operational challenges and modern AI capabilities. The company is built on a foundation of 'Secure by Design' principles, ensuring that its suite of products, including vBots and PeopleOne, meets the highest standards of data integrity and compliance. Coventus is recognized for its ability to deliver turnkey solutions that provide rapid ROI, making it a strategic partner for SMBs and large enterprises alike.
The journey toward vBots began in 2019 when Eleviant Tech, under the leadership of CEO Jude Ramayya, identified a critical gap in the insurance market: the lack of accessible, affordable automation for independent agencies. While large carriers had access to enterprise RPA, smaller agencies were struggling with manual processes that stifled growth. Jude Ramayya, a visionary with decades of experience in tech consulting, pivoted the company’s focus from general IT services to purpose-built AI products. The vBots platform was officially developed to address these insurance-specific bottlenecks. In 2025, the company underwent a major strategic rebranding to Coventus, consolidating its various AI product lines under a single, mission-driven brand. This shift marked a move from being a service-led organization to a product-first AI powerhouse, led by a leadership team including Mark Rogers as Chief Revenue Officer and Lokesh Natarajan as VP of Solutions.
vBots and its parent company, Coventus, have historically operated with a lean, efficiency-first mindset. While the parent company Eleviant Tech has grown significantly over 20 years through organic revenue and strategic service contracts, vBots specifically is often cited as an unfunded or self-funded initiative within the larger corporate umbrella. This self-funding status has allowed the company to maintain complete control over its product roadmap and prioritize long-term customer success over short-term investor demands. The rebranding to Coventus in 2025 suggests a strong financial position, supported by the recurring revenue from its 100+ insurance agency clients. While many RPA startups rely on massive VC rounds, Coventus’s stability is built on proven ROI and deep-rooted industry partnerships.
The Coventus product ecosystem is a comprehensive suite designed for 'work simplified and possibilities amplified.' The flagship offering, vBots, provides specialized automation for the insurance sector, including bots for Direct Bill, Document Retrieval, and Policy Renewals. Beyond insurance RPA, the company offers 'PeopleOne,' a fully integrated digital workplace platform for HR and internal communications, and 'vChat,' a generative AI chatbot solution that integrates with engines like OpenAI and Azure AI to handle customer inquiries. Additional offerings include 'vInspect' for digital inspections and 'vSales' for sales enablement. Each product is designed to be 'plug-and-play,' integrating seamlessly with existing enterprise systems like Applied Epic or Microsoft 365, and can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud to meet specific security requirements.
Originally focused on the North American insurance market from its Richardson, Texas headquarters, Coventus has expanded its footprint significantly. The company now serves a global client base across the insurance, healthcare, and finance sectors. Its geographic expansion is supported by a global delivery model, combining US-based leadership and client management with highly skilled offshore development teams. Recently, the company has seen increased adoption in regions like Canada and is actively exploring the growing demand for AI in the Middle East and European markets. This expansion is driven by the universal need for automation in regulated industries where manual data entry and compliance remain major operational hurdles. The rebrand in 2025 was a strategic move to facilitate this global growth under a unified, scalable brand identity.
In the last 18 months, vBots has introduced several high-impact features focused on 'Agentic AI' and unstructured data processing. A major release included the 'Advanced Carrier Portal Bot,' which can navigate 150+ different carrier websites, handling MFA logins and retrieving documents autonomously. The integration of Generative AI into the 'vChat' and 'vBots' workflows has enabled more sophisticated email categorization and judgment-based processing, allowing bots to interpret the intent of a client's email and route it or act on it accordingly. Another recent addition is the 'Policy Checking Bot,' which performs a detailed comparison between quotes and issued policies to flag discrepancies. These features are part of a broader push to make bots more 'intelligent' and less reliant on rigid, pre-defined rules, moving toward a truly cognitive digital workforce.
The culture at Coventus is governed by what they call the 'Coventus Code,' a set of values focused on empathy, integrity, and success. The company’s core principles—'Take Care,' 'Do the right thing,' and 'Lead with Empathy'—guide how the team interacts with both clients and one another. They foster a work environment that prioritizes the well-being and professional growth of their employees, believing that a happy, empowered team delivers the best results for customers. The company embraces a hybrid work model, leveraging its own 'PeopleOne' platform to maintain a connected and collaborative digital workplace across its global offices. This commitment to 'servant leadership' and empathy has helped them build lasting relationships with partners and a reputation as a trusted advisor in the complex field of AI implementation.
Coventus maintains an active presence in the professional communities of the industries it serves. For the insurance sector, the company is a frequent participant and sponsor at major conferences like Applied Net and various independent insurance agent association events. They provide a wealth of educational resources, including the 'Ultimate Automation Checklist for Insurance Agencies,' webinars on RPA myths, and detailed case studies demonstrating 100% ROI. Their 'Resources' hub acts as a community forum for knowledge sharing, offering blogs and video guides on scaling automation. Additionally, through their partnership with technology providers like Microsoft and AWS, they engage with the broader developer ecosystem to stay at the forefront of AI and cloud security standards.
